If possible, a vid on using the color powder and tempering cocoa butter would be very much welcome : ) I'm always confused about the steps of using color powder vs liquid in the cocoa butter tempering process. For example, sifting vs not sifting, when to add the color, etc... I use molds but this has always been my achilles heel. Thank you. On to the next vid.

Hi there! Thank you so much for reaching out to us! Keep your eyes peeled for a tempering video, as it's in the works! I wanted to recommend to you a class, Melissa Coppel is actually having a tempering 101 course on May 7th that is online! Copy and paste this link: melissacoppel.com/shop/courses/online-live-class/pre-crystallization-or-tempering-104/

Do you have any of your products that I can combine with the fat soluble colored powders that will give jewel or glitter tones? I get confused when your glimmer powder and pearl powder say they work with alcohol and water... will they work being mixed in with cocoa butter? Thank you!

Hello! You can absolutely add the Pearl or Glimmer powders in your cocoa butter to add a luster effect! The amount will depend on the look you are trying to achieve, we suggest starting with a little bit and building up

Hi! Can these colored cocoa butters be used straight up in silicone molds or mixed with chocolate? How does it taste-flavor wise? Do they have chocolate mixed in with them, or is it straiht cocoa butter?

Hi there! You wouldn't use colored cocoa butter in a silicone mould, rather use a polycarbonate mould, for moulded chocolates. Our colored cocoa butter is just Cocoa butter and colorant. you would use it for airbrushing or painting moulds, and moulded chocolates. Now if you are using fat dispersible powder to tint your white chocolates or cocoa butter it will mix seamlessly and there is no taste other than the flavor of the recipe.

How much powder does it take to mix in the melted cocoa butter? Like is there a % of powder?

@@janmchaney7912 There's not a one size fits all for color ratios. Its dependent on how pigmented your want your color. RULE OF THUMB: always add color in slowly to build up to your desired pigment.
