As a fellow Iowan, I can tell you Adventureland was a death trap. It didn't surprise me Kirsten was on a broken ride there. Iowa has a history with sketchy places for kids, Adventureland, Wacky Waters, Chuck E Cheese, Old Country Buffet, etc.
I went the week after a kid died on a log ride. Adventureland was crazy. I'm from the South and they would NEVER let people drink with kids running around. When I went to the Waterpark, almost everyone was floating around with beer and cocktails. If I wasn't sober now and had my kids with me, I would be doing the same.
Hey Josh & Co, for the story about the woman suing her nephew, that story was actually covered on last week tonight with John Oliver. Apparently, the woman's health insurance wouldn't cover it, but if she sued the kid, the HOA would shell out the money (or something like that). The kids parents were actually the ones who encouraged her to file the lawsuit. Just wanted to let you know

The aunt with broken wrist thing has been reported on wrong quite a bit, she had to move forward with a lawsuit in order for insurance to pay for an injury. Theyre still a happy fam lol. i dont think it matters what the ruling was she got her medical care or whatever

US Military has been using wireless game controllers for control of electronic systems for years. Granted, your point about 3rd-party controllers stands, they suck. But the Microsoft Xbox controller has been used for periscope control, small drone control, and others.

I know I’m a little late… but the aunt lawsuit is likely due to the fact she has to sue the family so their homeowners insurance can help cover the injury expenses.
That aunt story gets so twisted. She was trying to get medical bills paid by the parents homeowners insurance. They had to name someone in the suit. She’s less a shitty aunt and more shitty at insurance fraud
