It’s his craft and he continues to master it . It’s a art to him , same way an athlete trains to be dominant in their sport , to the best it’s a challenge.
Chappelle is so charming. Not only a funny comedian but an intelligent man , relaxed, objective, FREE THINKER and speaking his mind. Refreshing and giving us hope for the future.
@@normalguycap they can sit, have a drink and talk with eachother because theyre rich? i can tell you have no friends if you think you need to be rich to do this
Saw Dave twice and he was like that onstage, like I was in his living room and he was talkin' and telling stories, a seriously warm human being with brains and heart.
You've gotta remember: Joe was on Chapelle's Show back when nobody knew who Dave was. Joe was moderately famous from Fear Factor and The Man Show, not to mention News Radio, so he was actually the bigger "celebrity" back then. Remember the New York Boobs sketch? First ep of Season 1, Joe was there.
@@GavinMichelliArt Dave was already one of the best stand ups on the planet by the point he started the show while at the same time making all those movies he did.
Dave hardly aged all these years, but you can definitely notice that he aged from his voice. Such a legend and I feel lucky to witness someone like him in my lifetime.
@Agent 39 there can be dark marks on the skin once you've reached 50 years. I've seen it on my father, the marks is spreading particularly on both hands and neck
@@brianjirish Your gullibility is going to get you killed. You're completely brainwashed about what's safe and what isn't, not to mention what works and what doesn't.
@@MatthewC137 Sooooo taken pfizer which was recommended by my "DR" for COVID is some how "gullibility" over taken a horse pill that does not work on the human body? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@brianjirish Exactly. What you don't realize is just how ignorant most doctors are. The reason is that the vast majority blindly accept the words of "authorities" above them, for example, Fauci and medical journals that are as corrupt as Fauci himself. You would have NEVER taken the shot had you done your homework like a big boy. Thousands of doctors and real experts know the risks and are censored by the criminal media that you trust. Dr. Ryan Cole found out about the extreme risks for himself in his laboratory. Your ignorance about that "horse pill" is beyond embarrassing and completely due to your blind gullibility and brain washing. Good luck, NPC dude.
@@MatthewC137 Bro I took both Pfizer shots and I feel great. It's been 6 months and not a single side effect. You speak all about Dr. Fauci corruption but you don't back any of this with evidence? Just "conspiracy theories". Show us the "evidence". It's the same BS that trump spew about election fraud. Trump said he had "5,000" dead people voting ballots from Georgia alone who voted for Pres. Biden but never showed this evidence in court when "republican" Judges would ask for this "evidence". 61 court cases for trump to back up his claims and not once did trump present his evidence that "trump himself said he has"?????? SMH Just show us the evidence. Most Americans don't wanna hear "coulda, shoulda, woulda conspiracy theories". 😴😴😴😴😴
It’s such an underrated thing to have. My friends and I will sit in my brothers garage or basement smoking and shooting the shit talking about random stuff like this.
I have never thought dave as a comedian. I always felt he is a story teller who uses humor as a mean with an underlying message and because of that I started looking for the bigger picture in all acts and thats when I realized Dave is an all time great cz not everyone can show u the bigger picture.
That's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard. He's a comedian who tells stories, not the other way around. Believe me, if he just started if straight stories with no jokes, he'd be less popular than if he just started telling jokes with no stories.
They are both on a different level from each other. While Dave may be the better comedian. Joe has a bigger influence thus controversy over his podcast and who his guests are. Even to the point where he was suggested to host a presidential debate
Dave doesn’t want to be famous like those people, has his own declared Dave Chappelle day in Washington D.C. he is a once in a lifetime rarity, Griot. I’m proud to share the same timeline as him
Chappelle: Speaks about a really interesting, insightful, clever deconstruction of alterative performance/audience dynamics in comedy. Rogan: You ever been in a car with Leno? I'm a fan of Joe, but I feel he missed the point of what Dave was saying here. I really wish they stayed on topic about the alternative vs mainstream approaches to comedy and how audiences behave.
The way Chapelle speaks, not just his command of English but also the droll, almost lazy accented delivery makes him so easy and awesome to listen to. I could listen to this guy talk about the ironing, and I wouldn’t be able to stop listening.
“You ever see the back of a twenty dollar bill... on weed? Oh, there's some crazy shit, man. There's a dude in the bushes. Has he got a gun? I dunno!” John Stewart.
I’m thankful for Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy. If not for those guys the world would have never got to witness the birth of another legend. All the funny moments and movies he did came from being inspired by other greats. Long live chappelle. #TheDaveChappellePodcast.
Dave is truly a national treasure, I knew he was highly intelligent just based off his prior comedy specials, but what really got me was on letterman’s Netflix show “my next guest needs no introduction”, how he spoke about life, and people was so incredibly precise, and his open honestly about his own life, struggles, etc. was eye opening in a great way and made me that much more of a fan of his
I always liked that Dave Mustaine quote where he talked about how playing music with someone was the closest you could get to them without having sex. It's so true
Only Joe would turn a conversation about being inspired by the alternative comedy scene and it inspiring Dave Chappelle's new intimate comedy lab into a conversation about cars and Jay Leno. SMH.
Hahahahahahahaha🤣🤣🤣 could you imagine being out in Hollywood for a night with these two fellas?Dave Chappelle tells Joe Rogan,Man I wouldn't wanna be as famous as these people 🤣🤣 Your Dave Chappelle, and Joe Freaking Rogan, fear factor & half baked
Man, it would be an once in a lifetime podcast for Joe to have Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr on the same episode. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps.
Jerry Seinfeld sucks and you could tell they were trying to find something nice to say out of politeness and whatever stigma happens when talking bad about long time figures.
Such a great clip. Two comic geniuses. Rogan is the best conversationalist I’ve ever heard. Red belt comedian. At the end, when he makes Chappelle laugh referencing that story, love it. Two hall of famers and for my time, Chappelle is the GOAT at stand-up, and Rogan is one of the few Comedians that can hang and create this kind of conversation/content. Thank you JRS and thanks you C. #EnjoyGreatness
What makes Dave great is he slips into the attitude of where he should be in his life. You look at his early stuff, and he talks and delivers like a young man. He has the energy of a young man. When you look at his recent material, he delivers like a wise sage, but still giving a glimpse of that childish humor that made us laugh 20 years ago. Some comics don't know how to evolve. They don't know how to change because they're afraid of letting go of what got them noticed in the beginning. Dave stood on top of a mountain only to see there was an even higher mountain, but he first had to climb down the mountain he currently stood on and had to hone his skills in order to make it to the top of the taller mountain. He knew the skills required to make it to the top of the first mountain wouldn't be enough to make it up the taller mountain.
I've met both Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle... (I use the term "met" very loosely)... but from the very brief interactions I had with them, they're hella legit! I've ran into Joe as well.... but didn't bother sayin wsup... gave him his space :D
Seifeld tried to humiliate david in that cars episode, and it was like, "fine, fine, but you understand im a legend and you are a million dollar smile who hit the jackpocket, right?"
Meltdown comics had a similar environment. Most of the acts were young or new comics, but sometimes a big time comic would come in and try material out. Saw Robin Williams, Patton Oswalt, and Zach Galifianakis randomly on various nights. Miss that place.
