I was in this crowd as well. I was surprised by how good they were. I don't think many people including myself had actually really heard anything at all by them hence the odd head bobbing. This wasn't a fwf audience,its glastonbury and the crowd stopped for the whole set more or less. You don't have to be crowd surfing or spitting at the lead singer to appreciate the performance

Regardless of popular opinion, I think this is great. You don't have to be original, cutting edge or have thousands of pounds of record label backing to hit home with people. I think what they have released so far has been great and I look forward to see what they do in the future.

@@stevenwebster4504 It's not, but there's definitely rockabilly elements, similar to how The Fall used them. Relentless chugging drums and twanging bass grooves that could last 2 mins or 20 mins, with abrasive guitar and vocals painted over it.

Yeah Sam left Temples and now plays for Fat White Family- good for him as FWF are a much better band lmao. The guy on drums here is Dan Lyons, he got kicked out of FWF not long after this performance apparently, they had a couple different drummers and then Sam started playing for them about four years ago I believe.

They're definitely not overrated energy-wise, but music-wise, this is the only song they have that's even remotely memorable. They're definitely the "new pistols" - at least this week anyway.

Again, to be honest I would disagree, look, i get that this band is probably an acquired taste that really isnt for everyone.. I could name lots of songs that by them that I believe to be really good to be honest.. 'Wet hot beef', 'without consent', 'bomb disneyland' just to name a few
