So basically the version of bog from x’s duel is an acidic copy of acb’s bog? That’s rlly fucking cool I couldn’t tell who the other character was at the end, but the dialogue font and the face should’ve clued me in lol

That actually makes a LOT of sense if you pay attention to X's and ACB's versions of the "Bog & Yupia VS Syn & Hue" battle. Because if you pay attention to how they each depict Bog, he is actually VERY different as a character in both of those versions. *X's version of Bog is a lot more intelligent and cunning.* This Bog is most famous for straight up possessing Yupia's cyborg body and controlling her mind from the inside. This Bog also has a grown-up mind, able to think coherently and use strategies to defeat Syn and Hue. He is still bloodthirsty for human flesh, but he also has a thing for holding grudges (I.e., "You will pay for that!"). Furthermore, X's Bog ironically seems to have traits of an actual psychopath, given that he does not even TRY to collaborate with Yupia and instead uses her as a puppet. *But ACB's Bog is much more feral and child-like.* See, this version of Bog ACTUALLY LISTENS to Yupia and seems to view her as an older sister. In the duel's beginning, we see ACB's Bog straight up beg Yupia for her approval to fight their enemies, which is something that X's Bog would NEVER do. Plus, he does obey Yupia's command to stay put... until he randomly decides to fight anyway by headbutting Hue. Almost exactly like a little kid who ignores the words of an older sibling. If you pay attention, ACB's Bog is also _WAY_ more animal-like than X's Bog, as seen when ACB's Bog screeches at Hue for shooting him and then when Bog slams Hue's head against the wall like a chimpanzee on meth. Both versions of Bog are sadistic and predatory. But if you look at their subtle personality traits, it's revealed that X's Bog is more like an adult psychopath who feels zero compassion for anyone, while ACB's Bog is a lot more like a feral little kid who doesn't fully understand the bloodshed that he is inflicting. Just look at how both of them treat Yupia for proof: X's Bog only views Yupia as a convenient puppet body and remorselessly brainwashes her for his bidding, while ACB's Bog looks up to Yupia as an actual friend and he eagerly fights beside her as an equal.

On a somewhat related note, the concept that different artists’ renditions of the same characters coexist in some kind of collective multiverse is super intriguing

It's much more simple than that. First Bog and second one are different colors and smiles which come from difference in animation when ACB and X animated their battles with Syn and Hue. The ending just implies that both of them are existing together (ACB one who stayed in tower and X one who possessed Yupia).

@@reidj2226 It seems to imply that the ACB one is the original (which makes sense because they are the creator of bog). I assume this because Bog says “I won’t assimilate you yet”, implying that the other used to be a part of ACB Bog but developed to it’s own entity.

It also makes a lot of sense. Because if you pay attention to the different versions of the duel, it becomes clear that X and ACB portray Bog as different characters. Both of them are sadistic, arrogant and predatory. But there are subtle differences in their personalities. Just look at how both of them treat Yupia. X's Bog only views her as a convenient puppet for him to brainwash and control to kill his enemies. X's Bog doesn't even bother trying to work together with her against Syn and Hue, and the duel is more like a 1-v-2 because of that. But ACB's Bog actually DOES fight together with Yupia. He even listens to Yupia when she tells him to stay put, and he only disobeys to help Yupia when she gets in trouble against Hue. Meaning that ACB's Bog actually does care about Yupia to some extent, in his own twisted way. The fact that ACB's Bog literally begs Yupia for her permission to fight makes him way different to X's Bog, who would never do such a thing.

It's low-key ironic that Gildedguy is one of the few enemies who canonically survived a battle against Bog, yet Gildedguy is also one of the few enemies who DID NOT actively seek out Bog (bc Bog found him and attacked first).
