This is one of my absolute favorite songs and the only Tommy cover I can’t listen to and enjoy it because the original is so packed with memories and emotions and it is just wrong this way. But if you don’t are (good) emotionally attached to the original it is a good power metal song. I totally understand your point with that memory 😂
