Since I have ChatGPT, I can freely read your works now, and it translates them very well. Thank you, artificial intelligence, and thank you to the author。(I am asked to chatgpt) "In Jungian theory, to achieve individuation, one must activate the transcendent function, which requires opposing forces that confront and communicate with each other. This reminds me of the training of artificial intelligence, which uses adversarial neural networks. Is there a similarity between the two? My association may be far-fetched, I don't know if you understand it."。 (ChatGPT replied) "Your association is reasonable. In Jungian theory, individuation refers to the integration of the individual and the collective, which requires the individual to develop their transcendent function to transcend the everyday boundaries of self-awareness and cognition. In this process, opposing forces need to confront each other and communicate to gain a deeper understanding and consciousness. This is similar to the training process of Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN), where the generator and discriminator are trained through mutual confrontation to better generate real-like samples. It is worth noting that there are still some differences between Jung's theory and GAN training. Jung emphasized the integration between the individual and the collective, while GAN training focuses on the confrontation between the generator and discriminator, thus their emphasis and purpose are different. In addition, GAN training is a technical means, while Jung's theory involves deeper philosophical and psychological issues. However, both require opposing forces and achieve higher-level performance through communication and confrontation, which is a commonality between them." Will your next book be alchemy in the age of artificial intelligence?

Thank goodness. I enjoyed this presentation. You included a very brief acknowledgement of early Christian belief. I suppose the concept of being born again fits well with this as long as one doesn't assume that it means replacing the ego. Personally, I feel I have gotten something here, basically for free, which seems valuable to me. Encouragement of the idea of what a gift it is to be able to listen, to have the courage to trust in whatever might fall under this notion of the self. That came along with a warning against refusing to do so.
