I watched my friend get abigail on his first try during the event, just after I spent all my saint quarts trying to get her, he was in septem at the time
"Behold the heart of the world! Progenitor of life, Father and Mother, Alpha and Omega! Our creator... and our destroyer." *Merlin release NP "A momentary abatement..." *Illya release NP, hitting abby "Press this advantage, give them no quarter!"
It's not that hard, really. Bringing an Alter Ego (or 2, like I did) helps to tip the scales in your favor. Her most annoying move by far is her Witch's Trials skill, which drains your NP and lowers your ATK. That and her NP removes buffs and deals lethal damage (unlike with Amakusa, though, hers is single-target). If you can deal with both, the only thing standing in your way is the fact that she rezzes herself 3 times upon defeat (her HP bar reads just over a quarter million, so you have over 1,000,000 HP to deal with before you put her down for good).
Not really. Illya does enough damage with just one Merlin and 2 Merlins are overkill for the healing needed in this fight. It's a blind run so I'm just over prepared.
Get home, sit down, start downloading the FGO update, open up RU-vid while I wait, this is in my sub box. Massive goddamn spoiler. It's the first day, please at least just write "Salem Final Boss" and not have it in the thumbnail? It's been two hours since it was available.
I'm sorry about that as I generally don't try to keep my youtube vid spoiler-free as youtube is already a lawless land. But Abigail being the final boss has always been kind of expected from the start.
Expected, yeah, but it still closes off other possibilities making it that much more boring. I mean, the story ended up pretty poor in the end, so I guess my disappointment was just pushed forward two hours. I expected a lot more than we got. It'd be great for story relevant stuff in future if you could put a vaguer title/thumbnail though. With this chapter, with the time-locks, I tried as hard as possible to read everything available as quickly as possible to avoid spoilers, and it went really well for the most part, but I still ended up getting caught, and it felt pretty shit.
Cheers, appreciated. When you're playing the game 90% for the story, spoilers and such get to be a bit of a let-down, so thanks for taking it on-board.
