One of the greatest pieces of fiction I've read. It's charming, wholesome, sweet and at times even emotional, but when you slowly unpeel what's beneath this game. It does a left hook by having dialogues where characters and servants are aware of what's happening around them which really makes it more depressing. It shows that they are desperate in preserving what they have now and are willing to sacrifice what's real in exchange of the reoccurring 4 days, well, not until the end.
Its true, though, as the shadow monsters are not really hurting anyone save for Shirou (Which the Servants don't know about) the sinister overtones to this are really not as serious as it might first seem. Also, for the Servants especially this false existence is not really that difrent from their existence within the Throne of Heroes which is also outside normal time and eternally unchanging. Except for Saber the Servants have nothing more real to go back to, so for most of them the endless loop is just business as usual, but with more pleasant and interactive elements than their usual residence.
@@miguelarturopalomaresruiz explain all the servant died in heaven feels, even the epilogue take place 2 years, FHA takes place 6 month after holy grail
+Chris Angelo I want that for the story parts, but I don't think it would make much sense unless they had a narrator or something, and then it would be boring
I think an OVA series might be nice, but I don't think they could release one until after Heaven's Feel is out since the whole plot is centered around the biggest twist of HF (namely Avenger) which has yet to be revealed in any other ufotable anime
Oh, I remember when this this was first posted on youtube, millions of views.... Beautifil song, brillant game... And I don't know why sometimes when I listen to music , just sometimes, songs seem to have changed its pace like sometimes more faster, some other slower not all the time of course. Mmm, what do you think?
That would be too hard for them. fate hollow doesn't have a traditional story structure and is mostly fanservice. Its different from extending a fight scene or michael bay explosions
There is something intensely disturbing about the shadow figures stained into the rock, it gives me very strong Enigma of Amigara Fault vibes. Which, considering who Angra Mainyu is and the fate he suffered, is very fitting.
@sheodagana Actually the game is takes place after the original FSN by a half year, but thanks to Rin, all the possible outcomes of Fuyuki turns into a single reality, and everyone is pushed into a 4 day loop and fight to end it, while the grail war is restarted for unknown reasons in a different way with no price for the winner. As for the story, the game uses the Unlimited blade work route as a basis for the continuation (so Shirou and Rin is still a couple). Also there is a 8th servant.
@sheodagana It takes place after the plot, and seems to generally side with Fate (it being the true ending), but has elements from every route thrown in. It's like Kagetsu Tohya, if you've played it - your choices seem to decide which route is true for that iteration of the game.
Actually, they're reality marbles are pretty much identical, aside from how they look; and the reason that shirou has less weapons is because Archer is essentially a future, alternate reality version of him, and so has had more battles and seen more swords.
The blue moon in the mirror is behind The city overlooking is a crowd of people who never wake up Put your nails on the tired face reflected in your eyes A broken memory, I sighed and threw it away Repeated sins and punishments Stick into this chest A picture of a broken glass, a dream to collect Continue to drift I'm about to lose even your name A lonely paradise, a hollow cradle The clock that stopped The time passes like laughing The flowers on the windowsill forget their destiny Drunk with the pain of this binding chain Dry memory soaked in ruthless rain Hopefully in your hands Cut through this chest A picture of a broken glass, a dream to collect Continue to drift I'm about to lose even your name A lonely paradise, a hollow cradle A dream of running looking for a picture of broken glass Continue to wander I don't want to lose only your name A transparent world, a hollow cradle maybe good enough, i dont know.
@@Rootori4 Probably good enough but I think he's talking about the entire H/A translation, that fellow commented from 2011, couple years before the fan translation... lol. It took ages for someone to finish the TL. There was some funny reason it was held at like 97% complete for a year too.
To put it simply, Fate Hollow Ataraxia happens as a result of Servant Avenger creating an alternate reality loop in his effort to keep Bazette alive. Bazette being the original master of Lancer who was killed by Kotomine.
Lots of studying and researching. Nasu is pretty badass when you think about it. He learned a bunch of existentialism and religions. He should be on par with Nishio Ishin.
No, the trigger is when after UBW she and shirou recreates the jewel sword, just like in HF, and Rin tries it out in Ilya's castle and she cuts apart a ley line. I think the most obvious proof for it to be the continuation of UBW is that in the beginning of the game Rin is learning in london and when she comes back she don't looks le how she look at the end of UBW. Also, according to the game, Rin and Shirou is a couple already, and that happened in UBW. Also HF is just fun stuff, and not canon.
Well, from the start FSN only consisted of two routes Fate and UBW, but Natsu reconsidered the price and made fate other night(Ilya and Sakura routes) to be blended together into HF, that's why even if Shirou's love interest was sakura he spend his time caring for Ilya the most in HF.
And about the jewel sword. It's created in the HF route yes, however Rin explains that the Tohsaka family always tried to recreate it, and Shirou is much stronger at the end of UBW than in HF. In ataraxia it's never stated when the jewel sword Rin used was made. Also the epilogue of HF states that Rin was overseas for a year, while Ataraxia is only a half year later than /stay. Plus in ataraxia neighter Rin nor Sakura looks like how they looks like at the end of HF. Ata is after UBW not HF.
What Shirou summons at the end of UBW is not Archer's but his own UBW, the swords in there also the weapons he saw in Archer's UBW and in Gil's Babylon. Also i never denied that HF exists as an ending, it's just not canon with HA. Maybe the most obvious of the obvious reasons is that Zouken is alive in Ataraxia, when he died in HF, and Shirou is not in a puppet body in HA, plus Sakura's dark side only mention as a comic relief in HA.
FSN story revolves around Shirou, Saber, Rin, Archer, Sakura, Kotomine and Illya. Rin is the only heroine who has absolutely no route focused on her. She is dismissed as love interest by Nasu all the time (who calls Saber the most popular and Sakura the true love for Shirou), only one sex scene (a bad one, poor Rin). HF is the route Nasu said as about *love* and the *meat* of the story.
I know, we could say, that if Lancer is there then there is a world where Lancer won the war somehow, and so Zouken is there, but the problem is: they never mention Zouken as an evil figure in HA, while they clearly remember about a bunch of thing that happened in FSN. Also you are right about the thing that HA is the continuation of all routes. but what i meant is: the route that triggers HA is UBW. Also i'm not a Sakura hater, she is a central character for Rin. and so she is important.
HF is actually not considered a canon ending. It's only canon for the Battle moon wars game. The biggest proof of this is this: That route in the original game do not have and opening, plus true avenger or Sakura's dark half never mentioned after FSN, only as some gag. Actually i believe that route was made so the creators can patch up some open threads in the game, like Rider's identity and such. FSN's story revolves around Shirou, Saber, Rin and Archer, and Sakura is not a main heroine.
if u say so then let me ask u one question. In the Novel Shirou is with Tohsaka in London... TOGETHER. In Ataraxia he still is in Japan but Rin is the only one who is in London. And after all Shirou dont know in Unlimited Bladeworks that Sakura and Tohsaka are siblings.
@VvFrostyvV Well I've played... it was all in Japanese and could't inderstand a thing except that this game is oniric(Dream like days) and you can leap from one date to an other. I've also read that the stories here are not somehow "real" but mere ilussions, anyway, it's nice! And about the relationship between Saber and Shirou it's pretty nice, they kinda get a normal life in this game, lol.
Thing is, Archer's arm is killing HF Shirou by destroying his mind ever time he traces (not to mention his "swords growing out of my body" defense actually works against him). All UBW Shirou has to do is fight defensively or overwhelm him with his Reality Marble as using UBW will give him a faster rate of fire than HF Shirou who can't make a Reality Marble at all. HF Shirou has the better arsenal/Reinforcement, but he can barely use it, while UBW Shirou can shoot faster. Its melee vs range.
