@@thatrandomguy6735 Too bad that their burns cannot rival the fire in Shirou's blood as it is able to handle those metals and keep going like nothing happened.
+Pacifierjunkee an all-or-nothing attack, this scene has so much to say, the stupid boy really became a hero, even in the true end just his berserker figth give him this "hero" treadment, anyways i love to see this scene animated, or if is the case the OST in the rider and shirou vs alt saber
lordtouchme During your first play through in heavens feel, if you manage to get to the fight with Shirou and Kirei you are locked into the true end. However if you go back and do it again, just before Ilya comes in and saves Shirou, you get a choice. The first choice is to hesitate and see if there is another way (you know instead of dying) and this leads to the true end. The other choice is to just swing Excalibur and this puts you in the normal end.

@Deep Soul no he had a fair shot at beating her with the arm. Saber can't excalibur blast because the cave will collapse and she doesn't want to do that so she has to fight shirou with pure swordskills if shirou could still project saber alter would be dead but he had already fought herc and projected the jeweled sword
Deep Soul Nah. Alter Saber doesn't care about any of those. She lost to Shirou in swordmanship, that's all. No where ever stated that she was holding back. It's her alter ego after all. Fate/Heaven feel: "So she doesn't have to hold back anymore, huh?" Yes, Shirou did said that he can never won over Saber. But that's him without Archer arm as he later said: "There's only one possible way out of this. Archer's arm. I have to use projection to defeat Saber, just like when I fought Berserker." Direct quote of why didn't Saber use Excalibur: "Maybe it because it will break the ceiling if she use it, or maybe it some other reason." So you don't exactly know to be certain. And here is her, delclair that she would go all out: "I shall obliterate you with this next exchange of attacks." And about her lingering feeling that you said about, it's already confirmed in the NV: "Her heart contain only the slightest trace of pity..."
@Deep Soul You know the OG Saber was Saber when she's still alive right? In Fate route, after the war she return to Camlain hill and finally died there. She's not a heroic spirit like others. In Camelot, that was NOT Saber. It was the goddess Rhongominyad, the Artoria which was eroded by the holy spear, forgot about human emotion. That why we "won" after successfully give Excalibur back and have her part with the spear. SHe's not deliberately let Shirou win or anything. Shirou said she didn't hold back. She said she will obliberate Shirou. The only thing unclear is why didn't she use Excaliblast...That's all. Also, she DID expect Shirou to use Excalibur agaisnt her, but ultimately disappointed when Shirou decided not to. And when 2 Excaliblast met, the Cave will surely collapse. Fate/complete material III: World Material - The Servants of the Fifth Holy Grail War: Blackening of Servants, p.038 "Because they are in that state, fine control is not possible, but in exchange, their destructive power increases. They are fearful beings inflicting havoc and death upon the world. These are blackened Servants." Even if she want to hold back, she can't as stated above. Fine control is impossible.
This route? Shirou is always radiating a shit ton of GAR energy. So GAR the Grail Cannot Corrupt him in Fate, so GAR he managed to reinforce his ideals and bring peace of mind to Archer on top of surpassing him and besting Gilgamesh in UBW and so GAR even being a Zombie didn't stop him from protecting Sakura and putting Saber to rest in HF. Hell even in spinoffs, Shirou is amazingly GAR.
Spirit and technique..... perfectly clean. Our fiery spirit cooks the food Our strong brooms clean the floor Our famous names echo far and wide Two great men.... SUFFERED AS MAIDS or Broom and dustpan.... SHARED LIFE! - Archer, while cleaning the mess after he was summoned
So on day 15 Shirou "one-shots" berserker with his own move, then he has to go solo vs saber on day 16 if Sakura's affection isn't high enough. Winning 1v1 scenarios against the strongest 2 servants without dying (physically) is a good end in my book.
bad end 38 (sparks linear high) has nothing to do with sakura's affection. you earn this bad end if you don't convince rider to form a temporary contract with Shirou to save Sakura.
And Berserker was NOT in top-condition at all, opposit to Saber. He was blind, without Godhand protection and weapon. So yeah, killing Saber is FAR greater achievement.
@@termanuspong5699 yes, but Berserker after Saber is halfdead mess without even his skin (and Godhand). NLBW for brand new Berserker could take like 2 or 3 lives at best. That's still a fucking impossible achievement.

@@snakebot4986 regardless of how you translate "chikara, yama wa nuki" you simply cannot get "our spirit and skills reach mount tai". similarly, "tsurugi, mizu wa katsu" simply does not translate to "our spirit and skills breach the yellow river" now matter how you slice it. the first line, "Shingi, mugetsu ni shite banshaku" is no different. none of these lines reference a crane's wings, the name of a mountain or a yellow river. i'm interested in the source, but paying any attention to the audio from the VN debunks this if you know any Japanese.
@@omegalord777the part about crane wings and the river, that's CHINESE dumbass You're translating purely the kanji but the chant for triple crane wings is written purposefully in Chinese characters that can be read as kanji, it has double meanings. 鶴翼欠落不 心技泰山至 心技黄河渡 唯名別天納 両雄共命別 That's how it's written in the VN. @@corvuscolbrand if that's true then it's actually quite interesting. as i said, i AM interested in where the guy got the idea. the same cannot be said about my interest in people who can't understand the value of maintaining a minimum bare level of courtesy. try to be careful in the future, it's not set in stone that every person who talks like a narcissist or egotist is merely an arrogant fool. acting in the manner you did here simply makes you look shallow, quick to insult others and prone to both assumption and impulsivity. bad for image.
+Shimon Brand The cost would be high, but with enough demand, they might just do that ending in addition to Normal End. Or something. Anyway, I actually highly doubt that they wouldn't animate an end so badass.

@@xuanathan It's cursed because it's Archer's arm grafted on him after he lost his own. Grafting anything from a Heroic Spirit to yourself tends to have VERY big consequences.
This is an awesome song for a "bad end". Tought Shirou was so badass on that bad end he probably entered the grail in some way as fucking hero. As human defeated alter saber!
@It be like dat Technically he died the moment his brain died. You can't live once your body no longer receives signals telling it to breathe or function as it should. That's why comatose patients are treated immediately and put in intensive care just to keep them alive.
@@nomanhand No it's worst. It's a Dead End. He dies and Rin gets killed since we know she hesitates and gets stabbed. It's a cool fight yes, but let's not pretend it's anything other than a cool fight.
@@LeonGun8 I like to think that with the introduction of Zelretch, Rin's fight can go either way. What with the parralel worlds and all- mainly because Rider not being there, Rin doesnt have as big of a safety net so she doesn't fully commit to Shirou's plan, or maybe Rider comes in to help her out, depending on what Rider meant by saving Sakura anyways. Eh its all speculation.
He becomes one of the best hero in ubw route which didn't consider anyone evil and know how it is a difficult to consider someone true sinner. He will guide them in their own terms but also teach them the importance of humanity. So that they never forget their own humanity because he will not kill them but this world will definitely kill them.
Ensatzuken True, but you still get a Taiga Dojo and explanation for where you went wrong. They also encourage you to see the grand finale of "Fate/Stay Night". Though, I definitely agree that it isn't a "true" Bad End.
It wasn't listed as a bad end, however, all the main characters die and Angra Mainyu is unleashed. If that's not a bad end, I don't know what is. Sure, there's a good fight scene first, but this is one of the biggest downer endings. At least something like Mind of Steel had some positive sides to it.
Leon Goodstriker In this end there is sound in the distance, but no confirmation of what is causing it (even Saber is not sure about who have won). It's classed as "end" and not "bad end" cause it's from Shiro point of prospective (like all the story after all).
+Leon Goodstriker I wouldn't be too sure that the infamous Mind Of Steel had any positives. Shirou's still alive, but Sakura's not and Shirou has become just like Kiritsugu--or worse--the Grail War is still going, meaning Angra Mainyu can still be released and that simply killing Sakura doesn't change anything, and Shirou basically has nothing to live for, making Mind Of Steel seem like the worst possible ending.
Shingi, muketsu ni shite banjaku Chikara, yama wo nuki Tsurugi, mizu wo wakatsu Seimei, rikyuu ni todoki Warera, tomo ni ten wo idakazu SABEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This ending is basically shirou trying to hold up his ideal of protecting sakura against her own twisted mind alone, and failing in as epic and horrible a manner possible.
@Deep Soul I get that part, but what i mean is, this fight was not the end goal, and that's why it's the bad end. Yeah, the fight is amazing, and it shows shirou versus his former servant, but the point of this end itself is to show that even to protect just one person, he can't go at anything alone -bar the fight with kotomine kirei.-
@Deep Soul It's not be a "bad" end in the normal sense, but it counts as a failure regardless, as he could not save sakura, could not "save" saber, and doomed a massive number of people, as sakura and the grail itself, both still exist, and would proceed to end a large number of lives until something capable of stopping them appears. It's too badass to be a "bad" end. You, I, and the developers, clearly all agree on that, but it is not a good end regardless, and even though he wins that battle, it still represents his failure to win the war alone.
@@vla1ne Even when Rin and Sakura win, there's still Kotomine to deal with, ON TOP OF THAT, even if they kill the shit out of him and deal with the Grail problem? The one who loves them is dead (effectively). He won his battle but at a far too great cost.
One of the few times I wont mind at all if they deviate from canon would be if they changed it to have this fight instead of the rider & shirou vs saber fight.
CyberDagger In the visual novel, all three of the routes have at least 2 different proper endings, along with a large slew of 'bad' endings, that came about depending on your choices.
Apparently, the staff hated her as well. And it's easy to see why she's so unpopular. Compared to Rin and Saber, Sakura has no characterization beyond being sympathetic and barely contributes to her own story. That wouldn't be so bad in of itself but Shirou ends up sacrificing his entire ideal that he spent two routes building up to save her. Add in the fact that she's responsible for Saber becoming Saber Alter and Mind Rapes Rin in one of the Bad Endings and there really isn't much reason to find Sakura likable.
+TheInfernityZero You said that, like mind raping Rin is something bad. Well it is bad, but she act like a bitch towards Sakura for the whole route just because, she is a weakling, who can't handle the guilt, like Shirou did. Rin kinda deserve that. And Sakura also has nothing to do with Saber become Saber Alter. It's like blaming a guy, who was forced to do drugs by someone else, and while can't control himself kill somebody. That doesn't even make any sense.
+Dark Knight sakura definitely has some fault in this. the whole point of this route is to show that evil creates more evil, and this evil is in the hearts of everyone waiting to come out. I mean this is literal since you uncover the greater grail as all the ills of the world, made by all the dark wishes of humanity. Despite all the evil inflicted on her, sakura chose to become evil and it took something equally as strong to save her from her darkest impulses, shirou (and rins) love
@@annhentaiuser6658 I listened to it again. Most likely, At Doom's Gate was ripped from Master of Puppets, if only due to its popularity. But there is a close resemblance between the MoP riff and the Venom riff, and the Venom riff (which is quite iconic and influential) proceeds MoP by about a year. I tend to think Metallica may have ripped it from Venom, and they certainly weren't the only band to do so.

Here's a list of noteworthy servants or enemy that Shirou has fought 1-1 in the entirety of FSN, and surprisingly he doesn't have much wins. Fate: Never fought any servant 1-1. Grail mud Kirei fight count as a win but I thought it was a pretty cheap conclusion as Kirei was only defeated because he was caught by surprise (also the reasonwhy he got backstabbed by Lancer in UBW lol). We see a completely different story in HF. UBW: Fought Archer and defeated him but we might as well not count that as the wounds he inflicted on him wasn't sufficient enough to kill him and further proven when he is still somehow alive after getting stabbed by multiple swords from Gil (Archer pretty much let Shirou won their fight as it was more of a battle of ideals as opposed to a physical one). The fight with Gil is the only win I would count for Shirou, but he would have to rip his own arm off to finish Gil if not for Archer being there. HF: Killed a weakened and corrupted version Berserker who is nothing but a raging monster at that point, and at the cost of his own life (using Archer's arm is akin to him guaranteeing his own eventual death) so I don't really count it as a win win, it's more like mutual but delayed defeat? so maybe like a 0.5 credit for winning. His fight with Saber is a lost as he had only wounded her enough to temporarily immobilize her (cut her front the front so hard that it when through her armor and broke her spine. He was dead before he could finish Saber who would have regenerated after awhile. Fought Kirei till he ran out of juice. Shirou stated that it was a matter of time before either of them drop dead (Kirei from getting his heart ripped out and Shirou from turning into a brain dead sword porcupine), Kirei just happened to go first before he could finish off Shirou who was just defending and countering. I count that as a draw/stalemate as Shirou pretty much got lucky in the end.
Thats kind of the point the battle is between servants not human beings. So when you can actually be in a position to fight a servant its big deal. Especially when you start out with just rudimentary knowledge of magic
@@MrInuhanyou123 Exactly why Shirou is such a badass. Literally pushed himself to the limits in every fight. He is the embodiment of being determined as fuck. Man literally broke Usain Bolt's world record for 100m dash by running 100m/7sec to escape Berserker. Granted he was almost a demi-servant at that point with Archer's arm. I wonder if Shirou is the first official case of a Demi-Servant in Fate before Mashu.
Want to count Miyuverse Shirou who basically soloed entire their own version of Holy Grail War in one night? Well technically he is half-servant at that point, but still.
All "Rad End/GAR End" jokes aside... Is the title of this scene (Sparks LINER High) a freakin' Angel Notes reference?! Because if it is, that's awesome. (Also PLEASE include this scene as an extra in the movie, ufotable...)
Servants are referred to as a type of Ghost Liner. I think it might just be a term for a being fortified by magic. Kaleid Liner is obvious with the Kaleidosticks. Ether Liners are superhumans in Angel Notes that have been modified to respirate the pure ether particles the corpse of Gaea gives off. Ghost Liners are the strongest kind of familiars. Sparks Liner High might mean he's achieved a superhuman feat through the clashing of steel.
Using Triple Crane Split is highly dangerous to the person using it whose not named Chloe Einzbern. Archer wouldn’t want to use because he’s not as suicidal and insane as Shirou is here
hes weak as shit. his nails do like 3 damage even on seconds and buffoon completely negates his entire playstyle. hes the worst boss and host (if subject wasnt a thing)
