As cheery as this sounds you can still feel the dark themes in fate/zero, it fits perfectly it's like saying"there's a light at the end of this fucked up tunnel"
In Fate/Apocrypha, even Mordred thinks she hates her father, her Noble Phantasm is still named after him. Eventually, she realizes what she really wants: not to be a king or the strongest, but to be her father's trusted companion who is always by his side. Honestly, in Fate/Apocrypha, I like the pair of Mordred, a child rejected by her father, and Shishigo, a man losing his daughter the most as they are actually like father and daughter. The love development between Jeane and Sieg just seems too weird and illogical to me due to Jeane's overenthusiasm for Sieg and her sudden realization of love for him.
Agree, Shishigo and Mordred is like Father and Daughter, even when their last battle with Semiramis, the bond is shown very clearly. While Jeanne, is make sense because she is basically have ZERO experience with men and therefore yet understand the meaning of Love.
her noble phantasm (clarent blood arthur) means something along the lines of revolution against my hated father her red energy is literally the manifestation of her hatred toward Arthur but yes she does acknowledge that she is the wrong one at the end
Shishigou and Mordred get their wish granted without them knowing it. A child who wants a father affection and acknowledgment and a father who wants a badass daughter that he can take pride in.
It insulting to the story of Joan of Ark on top of undermining Aporcryphas story. She lived everyone equally because she had a revelation from God. She gave up her fleeting feelings and selfishness to give herself into all of Man equally. That is why she, a woman fought alongside the knights, the venerable men of France. And labeled a Heretic to Great Britain. Why would all of a sudden a woman of such virtue of acclaim a woman who found her best friend had become sick and still fought beside him because God would save his soul in the end. A woman so selfless that she fought against everything and everyone for the greater good of all Europe, one who did not wail when burned at the stake while still praying God. Suddenly abandon all those values and seek a selfish relationship based on some odd feelings and give up her love for everyone just for herself?
@@SillyRobotDog well in apocrypha she kinda fused with a college girl which rubbed off on her And I can see what the writer was going for (exploring Jeanne d'arc's human side other than the angelic side that most writers use)
Fate/Zero is my introduction to FateVerse... When I first saw this ending, I thought the other warrior was Gilgamesh but I later realized it was Mordred. The color of the armor became gold due the fire reflecting on the silver metal.
Whatever it is, let us give respect to the studio that went as far to create the reflection of fire on the armor which show how high the quality of this anime is.
pretty sure its not a high guard, its her final attack triggered by morgan's spell on her, which causes her to attack 1 more time after death. its how artoria got the mortal wound she succumbed to.

When I watched fate zero this was my favorite song out of the 4 total op/ed.. which is saying a lot, because all 4 are insanely good. For some reason I forgot it existed and never saved it into a playlist or anything, so here I am now doing that lol.
@@vinglebingus the weapon that killed mordred is RonGonMyniad (i have no idea how to spell) and the spear probably looked like that before fate put some metal fangs on it.
I watched Kara no Kyoukai, Fate zero, Fate Stay Night, Fate stay Night UBW, Fate Stay Night Heaven`s Feel I & II, Carnival Phantasm, Fate Apocrypha, Today's Menu for Emiya Family, Lord El-Melloi II-sei no Jikenbo, Fate Grand Order First Order and now Fate Grand Order Babylonia, but in my opinion Fate Zero and Kara no Kyoukai had the best intro and outro songs. I think they are the most memorable songs and have the most beautiful melodies. I wished Babylonia would have a more atmospheric intro and outro song like Zero and Kara no Kyoukai. Always when I hear songs of both I become melancholy.
Well, Zero explored deeper and darker thoughts of the characters more than other Fate after all, so its song should reflect this theme. Fate/Stay Night and UBW focused more on Shirou's romance, and Heaven's Feel is basically a horror story disguised as shounen (honestly, every main character is broken to the point of no return, especially Sakura). Fate/Apocrypha has some very catchy tunes which sound both noble, epic and grandiose at the same time, especially the main theme.

This song feels really different watching the images of the heroes. somewhat feels a trapped pain. the audio only feels nostalgic, but the scenic one is best.
I'm probably one of the minority who like the ending more than the opening. To me, the endings are a lot more special. This one really give that nostalgic kind of feeling even back when I was watching the series for the first time. I also like Eir Aoi more than LiSA.
I mean, it makes sense, considering that the lance Arturia used was fucking Rhongomyniad (I think) and at the time of making this ending that was not yet known in the lore we know what that thing can do in canon
Going by parameters and her arsenal, Mordred isnt all that powerful when compared to other Saber servants. Artoria looks weak in anime cause the story will always find excuses to nerf her since if not, she could win all those fight easily with any stakes.
Nah, We've seen gilgamesh on its own legend in this ED. And every servant got one of their own (and no one shows another servant, even if they're related like lancelot and arthuria)
@@NugrohoAlif I find it pretty fitting that Lancelot's transitions into Artoria's too. It's too bad they never properly portrayed the true despair of Lancelot, choosing instead to cap it with Iskandar's BS speech. Which is even more weird because Nasu himself actually flat out stated that Iskandar would be the worst choice to mediate or intervene in Arthur and Lancelot's conflict because he does not understand either of them. Arthur is the epitome of chivalry and the Perfect King and Lancelot is a blessed Knight who loved his King. They both believed in ideals over mortalpleasures so Iskandar's words are completely off the mark when it comes to Lancelot's grief (Lancelot did not go mad just because he was forgiven, he went mad because his disloyalty meant he was not there to save Arthur in Camlann).

I was listening to this as I decided to try and start summoning with 16 quarts. The final roll didn't have that black screen and loading at the bottom so I thought I wasn't going to get anything. Mordred ends up spooping me.
ᴄʜɪᴋʏᴜ ᴛᴏᴍᴏᴇ It's Mordred, just watch the other Fate anime and each has a flashback of sorts where Arturia and Mordred have dialogue and then Mordred is speared
i'm currently watching this anime on Netflix, and i'm disappointed that this isn't one of those animes that Netflix lets the credits play out before forcing me to go to the next episode or back out.
pretty sure theres a setting to change that. after you finish zero i recomend either fate/stay night UBW also on netflix which takes place 10yrs later or the fate/stay night heavens feel movies which are an alternate version of UBW. if you want a more direct sequel currently airing lord elmoi focuses on one of zero's masters a few months before stay night happens
If you just click off of the “next episode in 10 seconds” pop up it won’t skip it. At least that’s how it is for me. All I do is click the screen anywhere and the pop up goes away, i hope that works for you too!
@@sargera1 why go to a site that'll probably have it in less then 1080p and full of shitty ads when they have netflix? Kissanime is garbage and even if you didnt have netflix crunchyroll is legit $6
Damn, as I would have liked Arturia and Mordred to be reconciled in the canon of the Fate franchise, I know that each one reached their terms of peace with themselves and what they felt towards the other but how much I would like to see a scene where they reconcile and they decide to start from scratch as a family or at least try it, but I think that only in fanfictions can that wish of mine be made.
hmmm it sure is mordred but the sword design is different , the armor a bit and lol artoria pierced mordred with ronghomyniad not with some random lance well it is normal this thing was out before apocrypha
Looking at the image, how could multiple people possibly think that is Gilgamesh Saber is attacking? Do you people think everyone wearing armor is Gilgamesh?
i wouldn't mind seeing another fight between the two, but i would prefer a redemption story of sorts. one saves the other and they start rebuilding their relationship
