Father Gabe already been at 0% scared since the Saviors arc. Man gave a Bible verse before shooting a dude, something like "in my Father's house are many mansions"
When the group first found Gabriel, I thought he was gonna die in the next 2 or so episodes. He became one of the toughest, badass, emotionally fleshed out, and important characters in the whole show. He was even able to redeem himself in the final episode of the show, opening the gates to the civilians of the Commonwealth to save them from the walkers, doing what he failed to do years ago when he didn't let his people into his church to save them. From coward to chad 💪
Turned into the best character in the show. After most characters basically became one dimensional NPCs. Gabe was not only one of the biggest badass', but a leader, a family man, and the struggle over losing then refinding his faith mixed with the cruel new world and the things he had to do to protect his family and friends made him the most interesting character in the later seasons
He slowly became one of my favorites. I remember waiting for many episodes after they first found him to get eaten or die somehow. But then he just became a G and my favorite character
They weren't meant to add up It was meant to be a 90% percentage of being scared And a 1% percentage of being intimidated It's like Saying something is 1/100 or 99/100
Gabriel actually had like 50 kills or smth like that at the start bc of when before the group found him. He locked all of the people out of the church as the walkers ate them

To be fair saying he had zero kills when the group first met him would be inaccurate. He's entirely the reason his flock ended up dying even though he himself did not directly kill them.
