"satan's minions and the man himself got kicked out paradise just for raising a little hell nobody likes doing evil its a lonely job to do so even those guys all went out got matching friendship pentagram tattoos" - these extra verses are somewhat comical.
He's saying he has written a book with clearly defined instructional information you should follow regarding the avoidance of "funny business". Haven't read the book so I cant say exactly what he regards as the latter but he is certainly an odd fellow so his idea of said business is open to interpretation.
What the hell is that random verse "cuz the old man dont like funny business hes got alot of explicit didactic mandates regarding funny business you should read his book?" That shit sounds ridiculous, hahah.
So, it took me googling this dude to figure out that he's J Tillman from Fleet Foxes. I'm partly ashamed for being so in the dark, but partly super happy I found out about this. Definitely gonna pick up this record.
what kind of a comment is this? I'm impartial to the comment you responded to, but seriously? What would the world be without inspiration? I mean seriously. There is nothing wrong with looking at a man's beard, and thinking, "DAMN, I need one of those."
Didn't seem as on-the-ball this day... distracted by something? Makes me kinda nervous about getting a ticket to see him live, but I think I'll do it anyway. Have faith in your stuff, Father Misty!!! :)
Yeah, I love FJM, but man was Fleet Foxes somethin special. It's obvious it's over, Josh left, Skye's got his own band, Robin was pretty reclusive for a while there, and then their twitter got deleted. Really is a shame, a great band, which could have plausibly been one of the best bands for a long time to come, had the crippiling crutch of the great, but limited, two record fate. Love FJM though, to death, just wish it could have gone hand in hand..
