This is a quarterfinal football playoff game in the Philadelphia Catholic League between the Father Judge Crusaders and the North Catholic Falcons played at Northeast High School on Saturday night November 17, 1984. These teams faced each other in the regular season two weeks prior and North crushed Judge 30-0. It was North's first win against Judge in 10 years and it clinched a playoff spot for North for the first time since 1956. Father Judge was defending PCL Champions and looking for revenge in this playoff game. Both teams entered this game with a regular season record of 6-2. North finished the regular season in second place in the Northern Division based on the win over Judge. Archbishop Ryan finished the regular season in first place at 7-1. Judge came in third place while Bishop McDevitt clinched the final playoff spot in 4th place with a record of 5-3. This game was played in front of a near capacity crowd and the winner would advance to the Northern Division Championship game at Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia on December 3, 1984.
