The Bible teaches us to put the needs of others before our own and not to love our lives but to lay them down for others. Most of us can't serve the Lord because we don't want to be inconvenienced. The kids in that orphanage needed them and that is why they stayed. This couple is a great example and great will be their reward in Heaven.

While he was on the phone with him… He didn’t hear her say anything..,didn’t hear his son mention her during the call…so why would he during this part of the story.. Um...the young man grew up there most of his life. This family was very well accepted in this area by most. Just like in America, one cannot control criminals and there was a misunderstanding where the lines were moved where police were not allowed. This was not some youth mission trip. for 4 years during highschool 2016-2020 i lived 3 months a year in Port Au Prince haiti doing medical missions. 2018 is when the gangs started becoming overwhelming armed, ill be honest-they shouldn’t have been living there. So heartbreaking. 🙏🏽 🇭🇹
