Don't bet on the fact she won't get out , she will at some point. These stupid parole boards are a bunch of liberal social workers. They think their job is to let everyone out at some point. The parole boards are worse than the non- prosecuting DAs and liberal weenie judges. It might not be this first time , but she will definitely get out. Hell they are gunna let the Menendez bros. out. She will get out.

It depends on if the parole board feels the same way as the public does. They won’t base it on him, but hopefully they will remember the children who were victims. She feels she’s served her time and unfortunately, her sentence allows for parole. The jury was mislead, imo… she should be in for life.
Surely she won’t receive parole. She’s shown no remorse and hasn’t been a model inmate. My heart breaks for David. Susan belongs in prison for the rest of her life.

I remember being a little girl and horrified at this all over the news... as a mom now I've cried for these sweet boys when the story came back up. She deserves FULL life behind bars. I signed the petition for her not to be paroled a few years ago, hopefully it helps somehow that so many support her not being released. So sorry for the father and the boys who deserved to live long happy lives.
She won't get out.. she's been sleeping with the prison guards.. she's been using drugs.. she's done nothing to educate herself.. she's done none of the courses she was supposed to do as part of her rehabilitation process to be able to be eligible for parole and she has shown no signs of remorse or shed one tear for what she did to those little boys. She's done nothing to help her case so they won't let her walk.
There's a channel called Mandoo that shows parole hearings across the country. A grandfather raped his grandchild who was listed as "older than 3, but you get than 12". He served two years and was up for parole. They paroled him.
This man is still grieving. My heart breaks for him. A life sentence should be a life sentence. This is so unfair to this poor father and to Alex and Michael.
My parents lost a baby through birth injury, not murder. My mom said the death of a child is the one thing we can never truly recover from. This is beyond understandable. This man will be grieving for the rest of his life. I hope he knows countless hearts go out to him.
For David's reassurance, it is very very unlikely that Susan will get parole this time. Not only has she never truly shown real remorse, she has had numerous misconducts in prison, the most recent one a couple of weeks ago. I think I read somewhere that she doesn't even think she's getting parole after that and she is distraught... 😂 I love happy endings
All she had to do was walk away and leave the boys with their father. Nobody could have forced her to be a mother and their father would have taken care of them. Murdering children so she could date again is beyond comprehension.
I was in labor and delivering my first born when she was sentenced. My son is 29. I still remember the absolute anger and disgust I felt toward Smith! From her very first press conference you could tell she was lying! I say they hold her underwater just enough to be brought back over and over so she has to feel what she did to them precious boys! She has no remorse.

Sir, I can promise you, NO ONE in America will have sympathy for that monster! I remember this case as if it was yesterday. I remember the shock waves sent through people across the country. I remember this Father completely breaking down, inconsolable and beyond traumatized… it was and is still heart wrenching. I think speaking from the heart is the best thing for him to do, because his children live in his heart. That demonic woman should NEVER get out of prison!!! There is NO excuse for considering such a horrible decision!!!!
I’ve noticed this is becoming a trend for all these horrible criminal cases like this one the parole boards are trying to let these evil people out on the unsuspecting public is just disturbing they should stay in prison.
Well they changed the law in 1994. Violent criminals don't get parole anymore. Unfortunately her crime was done before the law was enacted. For one's who did get possibility of parole, only 5% get parole. She will be denied. The odds are stacked against her.
Think about how those 2 little boys suffered. Think how scared they were. It breaks my heart every time I think about those boys and how much David has suffered. The parole board should say no!!!
It's sad that life for those innocent little boys was so short due to their so called mother's actions. I guess 30 years was a long time.co.pared to what they actually got to live, but it is no where near long enough of a punishment to her for killing those babies.

I totally understand his worry. But David, she isn't going to be granted parole. I've watched a lot of parole hearings. She hasn't behaved in prison. She hasn't bettered herself. She doesn't take responsibility for what she did. All of those things are absolutely required. My heart is with you.
This is why we need to rethink sentencing. People thought 30 years was a long time. Can they still prosecute her for a federal hate crime? I know it’s a stretch, but she blamed the murder on Black men, thus weaponizing the Police on an entire community.

We have never forgotten this heinous act...we have two sons almost exactly the same ages as his and were heartbroken when they were found. She should never, ever get out.

It's wrong that the system is putting this guy through such horrible trauma yet again. Why would she even be eligible for it? The Injustice system is broken. She should have received the DP for murdering her children for such selfish reasons. It's unfathomable!

I KNEW she was guilty from day one because it did not make any sense that a black man kidnapped those boys at a state park and left her behind, this was the early 1990's, the young black ladies I worked with were scared to death. I got physically sick when they announced her arrest on local news and the utter sadness and crying of David Smith over this. She should not be set free. She killed those babies over a man that didn't want children, just rolled that car, babies strapped in to drown in that lake.
