Using my favourite tool, the Kopykake Projector, projects the outline on to the cookie surface for perfect placement and tracing.

I am getting ready practice on royal icing. Do I need some type of projector to trace the letters?

How do you get your letters raised so much? Thicker icing? Mine always flatten out. Thx!

Yes, thin icing flattens out very quickly. Thicker icing will work better for you. And adding half a tsp of cream of tartar will help the icing dry faster so it has less time to flatten.

Cainan Coller so you add 1/2 tsp cream of tartar to the royal icing recipe?
