Welcome to my channel, I am Jeff, and this is my channel where I discuss my music loves. I have a fairly wide music genre pallet, I do mainly spend much of the time in the rock, hard rock, and melodic metal realms. You will still find me delving occasionally in classic rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, and contemporary jazz. While most of my material here deals with vinyl records, I do have a large compact disc collection, and I even show a bit of my real band stuff from my life as a cover band drummer. The focus is on the music and the artists. Please be kind and keep it cordial in the comments section. Hi Jeff!! well done and after all you endup getting cool stuff from those stores and the record you wanted brand new the next day..... read a couple of months ago about the new Collective Soul album, nice to see them back, it seems to be a good album too. cheers and be well

Yeah, Collective Soul went silent for about 6 years, but the four alums they have released since 2015 have been back to greatness imo.

Happy Dads Day. 😊. My kids are awesome, they went to my local record store that knows me all too well and dropped some cash. Owner knew them and gave them 20% off so I got gifted three new albums. Black Sabbath Vol 4 remastered, The Specials new release double Lp , and a Joan Jett I didn’t have plus a package of Mofi inner sleeves. God I love those kids. 😅

Yeah, kids are a blessing for sure - tough at times - but a blessing none the less.

On one of the main streets in a neighboring city, St. John's (I live in Mount Pearl) and only minutes away, there are 4 thrift stores. There is also one across another main street which is a SPCA one. I could walk there in minutes. There is another one about 15 minutes away on a completely different street. I go to these every week or every couple of weeks to check out mainly CDs. There is a couple of local record stores that carry used and new music as well and I go to these. I'm after finding couple of the Bon Jovi albums on CD as my wife likes his singing. I also found the second Extreme CD at one of these stores as well. There are usually the typical pop and adult contemporary common CDs but occasionally you will find some decent Rock and Hard Rock albums at these thrift stores.

Yeah, we're in a pretty populated area, so we have a lot of thrift stores around here too. We make out rounds, hitting batches of them in different areas from time to time. They tend to have a lot of the same stuff not worth buying, but on occasion, the visit pays off with something interesting.

So Saturday NO Laundry to do not watching Chris Prophes videos and anybody else that you suggest us to watch? so you went to the Record stores? nice Billy Idol, when they have a sticker that say few skips there being honest with you but for 8.00 dollars I would have no interest. if it said dirty but plays no scratces and no skips then 8 bucks seems fair.

I think $8 is more than fair these days. I'm not sure how to take the rest of what you say here, so won't respond, except to say I do the laundry on Thursdays :)
