You are a lucky man ! Enjoy the hell out of him while you can. I lost my Dad and Stepdad during covid. Times precious and gone in a blink. I totally love the time you give to let us all be a part of your adventures. Its really appreciated. Be safe always in your travels. Dan from Utah !

Great stuff Jay! My son has following you tirelessly for the last 2 years now. Well, he's got me hooked now too! Me and the family recently took a trip to the Cranberry Lakes (Viking Lodge) based on your videos and the fishing and experience was absolutely epic! We fish plenty of quality lakes where we're from in Eastern AB and Western Sask, but absolutely nothing even comes close to stacking up with the Cranberries, Athapap, Simonhouse, etc. Thanks for pointing us in the right direction.. It led to some great family memories!

Good stuff Jay. Little story... reminds me a quite few years back my buddy and I were fishing with his dad and a few of his buddies. We were camping and had a few boats out and about. Fishing was tough at first. We came across "Smacky" they called him, and from a distance he holds up a couple huge walleye. We're like DAMN where'd those come from. He says figure it out and motors away. We get back to camp and out he pulls out 2 stuffed animal walleyes! LOL, he hadn't caught anything either, but the dude is such a jokester he has these in his boat! I'll never forget that. R.I.P Smacky. That was good stuff.

Hey Jay, sorry this comment won't be related to this video but rather to ask about Mr. Uncut Angling Aaron weibe himself. I really enjoy your content and make it a point to watch every video weather it peeks my interest at the moment or not because I know it will be shot extremely well and will be packed full of information. Anyways, back to Mr. Uncut. Is everything alright with him? I know he struggles with his mental health as I do myself and I worry about him. Would love to see something from him soon and I hope he is doing alright mentally and physically. If this comment is too long for you or it's a subject you don't want to touch on I completely understand.

Anyone have a good referral for me for a fishing lodge in Northern Ontario? I'm driving from Toronto to Winnipeg and want to stop after a long day drive somewhere east of Thunder Bay and go fishing for a couple of days. Need to be able to rent a boat (guided or unguided) and some gear. Thanks in advance.
