Eddie, I'm a 74 year old Glasgow Grandmother and just want you to know your such a wee joy, I have watched every episode of Still Game right from it first started but because of you, I'm seeing it from a whole different angle and I'm loving it. I also love watching and listening to you when you're on your travels. Thank you for being you, never change. God Bless you and Hail Hail
Eddy when your finished watching all episodes there is a documentary called “ SMALL BUT FAR AWAY “ the writers and all the actors talk about their time doing Father Ted . Worth a watch.
I am from Dublin Ireland and I did grow up in Dublin Ireland and I still live here because I love Ireland so much because I am a proud 27 year old Irishman.❤️😊☘️🍀🍀🍀🍀🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Eoin is a parody of Daniel O'Donnell, by the way. Who old women adored in the 90s (still do) and who literally did call to fans' houses for a "wee cup of tea", and was completely sexless in his image 😆
@@garethm3242 I must have watched each episode like 200 times over the years and I actually never knew it was based on Daniel O’Donnell. I only knew Niamh Connolly was based on Sinead O’Connor haha
When you watch episode 8, the final episode, you will be watching possibly Dermot Morgan's greatest performance of all - 24 hours before his death. The following evening, he and his partner were hosting a dinner party at their London flat, where they stayed during filming. Among the guests was Dermot's sister Denise, who gave the following account: "At the end of the meal, Dermot wasn't feeling well. Around 10pm I went to the bedroom with him. From my limited training in first aid, I didn't recognise that he was having a heart attack. His symptoms didn't match the books. I said to him I thought he was okay, and we went back to the dining room. He apologised for having left the table, and collapsed the very next second. We called an ambulance, but he had died almost instantly". I'll add, it was always going to be the final episode, regardless.
I've been a fan of Father Ted since it first aired, but I've also been a fan of the film this episode is parodying since then: George A Romero's 1968 classic 'Night Of The Living Dead'. If you were to watch the original film then watch this episode, you'd see that it's a really clever parody and full of references to the original film. Genius comedy. 😂😂😂 Patsy's partner, Scott.
Nice reaction vid, Eddy, as always. When you finish this series, you should watch and react to the Channel 4 retrospective programme about the making and location filming of Father Ted : 'Small, Far Away - The World of Father Ted', here on RU-vid. I think you'd really enjoy it.
Hi Eddy, not sure if anyone else has suggested it, but have you watched the IT crowd? It’s by the same writer of father Ted. I think you would really enjoy it! Would be great to see you react to it!
I think you got your facts wrong with Ted's death he wouldn't of died after episode six when they made more I believe he died the day after the series finnished or the party to celebrate the end of the third series..
Sorry I didn't get what upset you when Ted opened the door to that boy? hope you are okay? Doesn't matter how many times you watch Father Ted its always great. This episode gave me the creeps.
