On the mainland, no alcohol sales after 10pm from shops or supermarkets. No sales before 10am, no sales on a Sunday before 12pm although they may have relaxed that last one more recently I think it's 10am now at least in cities. On the Western Isles no sales on a Sunday full stop as far as I'm aware.
10 till 10 seven days per week since 2007. It’s never been banned on a Sunday on mainland although I’m curious why mainland does r follow Scottish law and has their own adaptation. Is this a local authority thing or a collective decision? For instance north Ayrshire includes arran and assume they are 10 till 10 over 7 days? Curious 😊

s others have said 10pm is very much still a rule and has been for decades. Was changed in 2007 from 8 till 10 to 10 to 10. It’s one of a few things introduced to combat the worst alcohol related deaths in Western Europe That and minimum unit pricing of 50p per unit of alcohol No multi buys on alcohol Alcohol can only be sold from designated locations in stores No more then 1 price change in 72 hours Only alcohol or soft drinks can be sold in an alcohol designated area, ie no snacks or bottle openers Any premises selling alcohol must do 90mins of training of selling alcohol in Scotland Can you tell I’m a personal license holder haha BTW the legislation hasn’t worked hence the MUP about to increase
