Lukas Graham is named after the lead singer, in the song he says that they're 30 years old, and in a few months he turns 30. He describes soon we'll be 60 years old, because his father passed at age 61. The premise of the song is simply about growing old. Haven't you heard the rumor?
8:20 Wouldn't it be better to poly the 2/2, trade into leeroy and ping the silver hand? Than he would only have a sheep, now he has a sheep and a silver hand, or am I missing something?
He was propably afraid of vaporise, or something like that. Not sure why he'd bother, since noone plays vaporise, but I assume he wanted to bait it out with a smaller minion.
according to wikipedia: The four things he says he will never do are: "forget the way you feel right now" "forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight" "do it better than I do it with you" "stop dreaming of you every night of my life"
Each verse mentions two things that the man would do for love, followed by one thing that he will not do. The title phrase repetition reasserts that he "won't do that". Each mention of "that" is a reference to the particular promise that he made earlier in the same verse.[6] The four things he says he will never do are: "forget the way you feel right now" "forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight" "do it better than I do it with you" "stop dreaming of you every night of my life" If anyone was wondering when watching this video that’s what he means
Meatloaf is talking about turning his lover into a vampire ... he doesn't want to kill her. The occult was a central theme for that entire album. Thirteen Years Old is a journey through the singers life ... but in his mind; casting himself backward or forward through time to tell a story ... like a memory or a dream or his life is flashing before his eyes. This is a common literary device in many songs, stories and movies. It's up to you how old he is because of the device being used and the age not specificity being mentioned ... given the context, the singer is likely as old as he is in real life ... late 20's or early 30's or thereabouts.
He says what he wouldn't do in the song. "forget the way you feel right now" "forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight" "do it better than I do it with you" "stop dreaming of you every night of my life"
8:20 The better line for this turn would've been to Polymorph Wickerflame then run the Whelps into Leeroy, then ping the dude. The opponent would be left with just a 1/1 sheep and would not gain 3 health.
Second song is meant to be changing views over time. It is how the writer predicts different stepping stones of life, noting the 'important' things that helped change his views of the world.
it seems to me the band Lukas graham the bands average age is about thirty which is at the age they sing i"ll soon be(once i was thirteen years old) which they continue through with 60 which i guess is reference to relative experience of time
13 years old song is about life, he is walking through his life again from start in nostalgic state in his memories, this song tells us what is really important when you make decisions about your future, that people around you, that you choose, they are important... its about friends, family and getting older and older.
He is between 20 and 30 years old... (he was recalling that his mom told him to get some friends when he was 7, what his dad told him (to get married) when he was 11, him feeling lonely when he was 20 and him struggling to be an singer and expecting children....
Toast my toasty boi he's singing about when he WAS 7 years old then 11 then 20 30 60 etc he's not saying I'm 7 now I'm magically 11 now I'm magically aged 9 years he's saying he was that age at at some point he says he was 30 and will soon be 60 so he's between those years
Meat Loaf believed that the lyrics were unambiguous, but Steinman predicted that they would cause confusion. An early episode of the VH1 program Pop-up Video made this claim at the end of the song's video: "Exactly what Meat Loaf won't do for love remains a mystery to this day.
he won't: "forget the way you feel right now" "forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight" "do it better than I do it with you" "stop dreaming of you every night of my life"
I believe in the meatloaf song he is referencing "IT" to be cheating around, and seems to be confirmed by the female vocal in the later part of the song.
To the questions to the songs: I think they made songs confusing on purpose because ppl would try to figure them out and therefore pay attention to them and also memorize. The rational mind tries to make sense of them, so they may be kept in mind like a riddle that needs to be solved. Another possibility is that they were made in a context that is not known to us like a movie or story etc. Or they were just too stupid to write songs that make sense xD but I think there is a purpose behind it, since I do not believe in purposelessness.
ExiHyp I agree with you for the most parts, exept that theese two songs are not confusing. Think Toast is just trolling his viewers by pretending to not understand them 😂
anything for love but he wont do that is: forget the way you feel right now; forgive himself if you don't go all the way tonight; do it better than he does it with you, so long; and stop dreaming of you every night of his life.). these are just some of the reasons explained by the song writer
The song it's about his life , he says every time the age when he did something . If you think of it it's not confusing at all , brilliant I'd rather say. By the way he is 30 years old by now . Born in 1988
I love how you’re trying to break down the song you don’t know the name to ? Then say it’s confusing when he’s saying when he was said age this happened.
He was 7, then 11, then like 13, followed by 20, and then later 30? It's almost like people age.. Disguised Toast is obviously a robot who doesn't comprehend. It explains his spot on calculations
how's 13 years old confusing? he's literally telling his life story, if you paid attention to the lyrics, you can understand that he's telling his life story as he age
Well he says “once I was 20” during the song so we can assume he’s older than 20 years old. He says “soon I’ll be 60 years old” so we know he’s younger than that. The actual artist is like 29 so basically in his 30s. Anyways his current age isn’t really relevant to the message the song is trying to deliver.
He also says that there's no consistency in the years progression(7-11-20-30-60), but to me it makes sense because time seems to go by more quickly as we get older.
It seems that way because of this: When you are 12 years old and remember being 6, that is half your life ago. So 6 years seem like a lot to you. When you are 60 and remember being 54, it doesn't seem that far ago because it's now just 10% of your total life time, even though it's still 6 years.
