Disguised Toast, gives Wall Druid a try with Dollmaster Dorian, to great results! Subscribe to Disguised Toast 2: / @disguisedtoast2 Edited by: / voidgimmick
If they had killed the tiger you'd have milled it and they'd be in a MUCH better position at 13:00. Why leave it on board instead of milling it is beyond me.
The warlock lost the game at 12:50 bacause he used the siphon soul on the ghoul, but Toast had 10 cards in hand, if he used it on the astal tiger he would have burned his win condition
Generally you want to resurrect Hadronox so grizzled guardian is bad, but one thing to not is that polymorph and hex transforms things into BEASTS so you may Rez them which is why I believe it is somewhat reasonable to run furbolg moss binder as a counter to them
I fought against my first cube lock the other day in the 6 months that I’ve been playing... wasn’t fun... especially because I’ve never been above rank 19
He missed lethal at 20:35 . If he'd used the branching paths and gave his minions +attack twice, he could've dealt 15 rather than 9 and the fatigue would've dealt 4 to finish him off
I enjoy Astral Tiger Druid, but I always thought its Deathrattle would do like Malorne, unless they patched it, which actually removes him from the board. I know what I'll be doing with my 1,6k remaining dust.
Harrison Frater nah cubekock aint that bad and its fairly competitive, just use arena and tavern brawls as a way yo finish quests and if youre good enough in arena and can win 7 games consistently youll build it up from there if youre not just keep doing quests youll get youre collection back eventually
I don't see the point of Grizzled Guardian and Astral Tiger and co. The appeal of WItching Hour is to get a guaranteed 3 mana Hadronox to combo with Cube, etc. You don't need Astral Tiger to win fatigue matches when you can just beat them down with up to 7 full boards of taunts thanks to the number of Hadronox you can produce in a game. Especially when you can revive the Lich King over and over, fatigue is a non-issue. Just my two cents, I'm not legend rank yet so I'm not gonna pretend like I know everything.
Hey Dont know if anyone has mentioned this but echo cards interaction with reduction. Let's say you have a 2 cost echo, you reduce it by 1 and use it, the echoed version will return as a 2 cost. Is this the intended interaction?
Yoda G yes because there are cards that reduce cards to zero, this would lead to random otk builds or just plain unfair, for example one of the rouge cards gives you a random card from the opponent class, if they used the card that reduces it and plays it, if it would have been 0 at all costs he essentially just drew free 10 cards
I play kingsbane, I find I win 75% against this deck, because of vanish, and blade furry being op op. (Vanish mils your next draw and stops cube and Hadronox forming being useful, plus no taunts for ez life steal hit face)
Wow, double misplay around 12:45 toast should have used his excess mana so he couldn’t burn his tiger, you know his win condition, if the opponent killed it, and the opponent should have killed the tiger to burn it
taunt druid against warlock doesnt care too much about milling, u are winning anyway if u kill the giants and doomguards (not this case), the problem here was toast running grizzled that doesnt give him hadronox back anyway, naturalize is ur only card against great minions without your full board (hadronox), save it for the best against control deck sry if bad english ^^ btw im top 300 legend with taunt druid
Dorian+Cube+Umbra+Astral Tiger dream? Is there a card draw that could cause an infinite loop? (Houndmaster Shaw and Cult Master? :P Can you get Hunter cards as Druid now...?) EDIT: Hah! I checked some cards (Standard) and it is possible under 3-4 rather unlikely conditions: 1) Your Dorian+Cube+Umbra+Astral Tiger must be on the board (Astral could also be in your Deck if Azalina) 2) You have Azalina or Togwaggle in hand 3) You must play against a Hunter that has Houndmaster Shaw in Hand OR in the Deck (If in the Deck, then Togwaggle must survive for a bit so you can actually draw it) 4) Your opponent must have minions on the other side that you can keep hitting with your Rushed Astral Tigers from Dorian+Cult Master combo. Convulated and overly complex combo that will never see the light of day and the odds of anything like it ever happening out of a controlled test (Friendly duel that is actively doing it) would be slim xD
"Why build bridges when you can build walls?" What? Toast is evolving! *insert favorite Pokemon evolution theme here* Congratulations! Your Toast has evolved into Trump!
The recruitable minions and extra beast of this deck arent very thought out. (Recruiting umbra to get no value from her, and risking to resurrect the stupid Grizzled Guardian instead of Hadronox with Witching Hour). Also, wouldnt dollmaster work better if the minions werent thinned away from the draw pile via recruiting?.. Granted its mainly low cost minions who get recruited, but it still affects the minion/spell ratio significantly ;)
Yeah not only does having the grizzled guardian screw over witching hour, but it also screws over oakheart. without it, and without the tiger you would guarantee summon Hadronox with oakheart and witching hour would guarantee resurrect Hadronox. Instead of having the super long fatigue game he would have summoned like 3-4 waves of full board taunts.
@disguisedtoast In the first video, the guy could have won super easily right? The moment you run out of cards, you had 10 cards in hand and only 1 tiger on the board and he goes face... if he just killed the tiger, he would have put it back into your deck and force you to mill it, because you were at 10 cards... and then win by fatigue as you wouldn't have had any minions to play... correct?
