My daughter and I made these rootis today. We made this in memory of the one and only Fatima Sydow. May you rest in peace. Your voice is so missed and your bubbly personality.

Fatima is the aunty we all need in our life🤗

3 cups cake flour 3/4 tsp salt 1 tablespoon oil 300ml luke warm water

This channel has helped me in moments when I miss home the cooking and even just the language. I've been living abroad by myself for the past 3 years and what I miss most was the food. You gave given me light at the end of the tunnel every time I attempt your recipes and show my grandmother after I've made it. Thank you 😊for it all❤

Hi Fatima. I made your roti's today. Thank you for sharing. We had spaghetti pasta, sauteed shrimp, and a white cheese sauce, tossed salad and garlic roti. I added garlic and parsley over the butter and it smelled fabulous. Mom was amazed at me "klapping" the roti. 😃 It was a lovely supper we enjoyed and finished with a glass of homemade pineapple beer. (We're in Florida in the USA and love to make our favorite foods, bringing back fond memories). It was 46 degrees here today - terribly hot. ♥️ to you there.

To make cake flour, take 1 cup of A.P. flour, remove 2 tbsp and replace with 2tbsp of corn starch(flour) 😊

Tks a mill. Tried today and you were right, not enough butter can make it come out harder. I added more half way and it worked. The harder ones we enjoyed with an avocado dip. Havent done rotis in 20yrs. Tks again. Greeting to Sunny SA, from Germany!
