I listened to the whole album and wow... fatou is an artist. She said she is sharing a very personal part of herself through this album and also showing her true self as artist she implemented many genrees including rnb and afrobeats, it really took me on a journey.
She wrote this album and produced it with her deepest feelings (Leanon also helped with the producing), this is beautiful, a lot of sadness but meaningful. I love the whole album and especially Me, Myself and I & Adaeh. Thank you for reacting to Fatou "The other side" and sharing your opinions and kind words💗
The whole album is honestly so amazing! From start to finish, there is a message that is diverse and clear to understand. She really put her heart and thought into every song
EP is so good it’s a personal journey/diary of Fatou experience. she is sharing her pain and pleasure, self love and journey to where she is now. I listen to the entire EP so many times I love it. Enjoy your reactions as usual. ❤
love Fatou, love her darkness, her expression but not this genre so I'm fighting and don't know if I love it or if it will grown on me; but it's also a period in which I'm not loving any comeback of my faves so maybe it's just me not being in the mood rn❤
Fatou admitted she struggles with depression and I think this album depicts some of it. In the song on the other side where she says I don’t want to be sober and think she is referring to alcohol (soju) which she probably turns to on some days to deal with the pain. On Knowing Bros she mentioned how she has a certain day for which she drinks. This album is her beating her soul to us.
