I love this speech, and I have to tell you Shaykh, when you said at around 22 minutes that if I have an anger problem I dont wear a shirt that says "I'm prone to violence", I nearly choked from laughing, that's such a great point!

I have thought of gender dysphoria sometimes but I realized now it may be driven by my cultural and biological basis. Because I'm autistic I have great difficulty in social interactions, I can't do sports (don't like sports), and I can't drive properly (it takes a while for me). In the past sometimes people referring I'm not masculine because I don't do what typical boys do, it sometimes causes shame and guilt. My hope is that any Muslim who feels similar reflects this way, I know it can be hard but think again, it wasn't your fault, it's just your biology, it's fine, you're more than just your gender. Be grateful for the gender Allah has given to you.

Thank you so much Dr Yasir Qadhi for this speech. You mentioned the issue concerning the Muslim politicians having deviant views, and the extent to which we should associate with those Muslim politicians. We have one US female politician who fits the characteristics of the politicians you mentioned, Ilhan Omar. There might be more. You mentioned that we must warn our children and youth that they should not take our akhlaq (morals) from them. With due respect, I must say, this is an ambiguous stand. It obscures more than what it clarifies. Please tell me how are our youth going to navigate through this complex burden of whom to follow and how much to follow, when, on the one hand, we have media outlets endorsing such politicians and projecting them as role models, and on the other, Muslim organization inviting those politicians in the Islamic events who openly support fahisha, and contradict unambiguous stand of Quran. Furthermore, they are endorsed and even praised by Muslim scholars. Why our Muslim scholars and Imams (you included) are not condemning, without ambiguity, those politicians who support one of the most animalistic human behaviours? We have not seen scholars telling those politicians to stop spreading their deviant views. Dr. Yasir Qadhi, this approach is not helpful!! May Allah rewards you for your efforts. JazakAllah

You can invite those politicians to social events but not to an Islamic convention and give them the opening speech bc that means to the youth that the Islamic convention organizers are in good terms with that politician who supports non Islamic agenda

Alhamdulillah, May Allah reward you for your efforts. I have been witness to a close friend who is transgendered, and it is real. Born in the body of one gender and deep inside is actually the other gender. Hidden for decades, acting the part of their physical gender to not be found out by family and friends. This person was aware of this at a very young age. When revealed to me, and felt safe to be themselves, their personality changed in a beautiful and profound way. There is no denying this in my opinion. I believe the soul may carry our innate gender and sometimes the external genitalia differ…and only Allah knows.

May Allaah protect him from the repercussions of this. That said, he's partly to blame for not taking a firmer stance on this issue years ago and for attacking those who did and calling them extremist and fringe. I also wish he pointed out the fact that being proud of sin or approving of it constitutes riddah. Many Muslims don't know this, unfortunately. It should be made very clear that Muslims are not Muslim anymore if they approve of sin knowingly.

I cant understand why some people and some scholars speak against Yasir qadhi...Is there any legitimate reason which somebody can point out for this behaviour of ulema towards yasir qadhi...for I have always found him to speak logical things n i only heard good from him

It is our right to educate our children with islamic morals, because that is what the hullabaloo is, our children. Lgbtq is coming for our children, they have declared open their agenda. We should protect our youth, our children and our communities. A lot of Christians are into this fight too. They are making an affront to the lgbtq community too. May God guide and protect our families, our communities and all who are on this straight path

The concept the Transgender advocates believe in is called the Performative Theory of Gender, as the good Shaykh said. I personally subscribe to the Derivative Theory of Gender, which is that Gender is a derivation of Sex, not something that varies independent. I argue this theory is more descriptive of human behavior, versus the Derivative Theory, which has become prescriptive. By the way, I'm a Sunni but please do a talk on Abdullah ibn Ibadh and Abdullah ibn Wahb al-Rasibi :)

Proves how you are in the middle path which is exactly how every Muslim should be since Allah made as a middle nation (Quran 2:143).

I agree with a lot but about the Hermaphodite : I didn’t agree, we can say by DNA like the sheik say who is man or femelle -> But even for hermaphrodite : If someone have a Y chromosome he is a male and if he didn’t have she is a female (so X0 is femelle and XXY is male)

How does Islam view the situation where even before sorting out their urges many Muslims who are attracted to same-sex end up getting married due to the social pressure and yet continue acting upon their desires of same-sex? Is it permissible to delay marriage in this case or wait for a miracle that getting married to a girl will "fix" all this? Or not marry at all as long as they are struggling with this? It seems very unfair towards to the woman .

If u have an "urge" struggle, control it and get help...u don't need to label and identify with something that is not healthy. No such thing as "coming out of the closet" Your humanity is not defined by the urges your feel in your heart!

Politicians who declare haram to helal, well their verdict is clear cut.
