Here we have another set of Miconic 10 elevators! This one is located on 8th Ave and 44th-45th Streets. This is formally called the Milford Plaza Hotel as you can see in the picture shown in the intro. The low-rise bank serves floors 4 through 15 while the high-rise bank serves floors 15 through 28. Both banks serve floors 2 and 3. A HUGE thank you to the wonderful hotel employees for allowing me to take a ride on these wonderful elevators here.
MY THOUGHTS:
This Miconic 10 system is pretty good. However, I noticed that Car D has a faulty door sensor. As you can see when I tried to head down in that car, the door keeps opening back up for no reason. As a result, I ended up getting another car down to the lobby and apparently, Car D was able to start working again as you'll notice that people are entering Car D while I was trying to get a ride on the low-rise bank. Other than that minor difficulty, these run pretty well and the cab design looks really good.
