About how things turned out after the ame charity stream: He made a video telling about this situation, as other people said: someone was stealing his songs and uploading on Spotify, trying to monetize it. He contacted cover to see if anybody could respond him. Got ignored for months by Cover. He was sad that there were other people monetizing and consequently breaking Hololive's guidelines. So he vented about it on twitter. then he made a slightly unfortunate and easily misconstrued tweet that if he makes a Copyright claim on the live that was going on (Ame's charity stream), in which she was playing the web game that contained this song, maybe finally someone from the cover would respond and they could have a business relationship between them. Of course people started attacking him for the poorly done tweet, thinking that he was going to give a Copyright strike to her live and that he was a bad person who was looking for money and with envy that they used the song without permission, since he knows very well that there's no way to do that because the song is transformative content from one of Cover's talents, and he has done several different covers of other members (Risu, ame, pekora, gura) and even collabed with other artists.He was venting because he was desperate to get in touch with Cover and resolve this, as he could end up with someone making money by breaking guidelines and using his music without permission. The purpose of initial contact was to get Cover's permission to upload to Spotify to prevent others from posting there and monetizing without permission, and to reach an agreement with Cover on what to do With the situation. To this day, there are people who got it wrong and don't even try to find out about it and continue spreading lies (you can see it in this comments section) People keep saying that the vtuber community is very friendly and comfy and heated, but when you manage to spread a well-told lie and make it spread like wildfire, you can end someone's career or even someone's desire to continue in the community.
