It saddens me to note that Conductor Ozawa has died this 9th of February 2024.

I too was saddened to hear about Maestro Ozawa. Another iconic musician who recently left us was Maestra Patricia Janeckova, who died of cancer in October 2023. She was a soprano with a rich, soaring voice.

Simply moving magnificent peace of music, which transports one beyond the earthly realm - Seiji Ozawa at his best; and the soprano sung as though she was in heaven herself!

Fantastic pause at the end, tears are shed.

The perfect voice for the Pie Jesu...So beautiful; So angelic!!

Amazing voice and restraint from such a large choir carried one beyond, to the life to come!

Excellent enunciation of the Latin!! Amazing control in the chorus throughout; the soloists were amazing!! Love maestro Ozawa!!
