TCP is actually in my favela at the moment, although CV has been taking over a lot of favelas recently. My favela is mostly pacified, although things are shifting lately and there have been more shootings.. I plan on making some videos here soon posting more information about it and what life is like here
There are lots of hostels in the area I can recommend :) Not sure if I'll be here in a month.. right now I'm living with a friend just up the road from the hostel where I filmed this. If you come and I'm still here we'll have to go get acai or something
Sinceramente, o fato de vc morar numa favela mostrando que claramente tem condições e renda para viver num lugar LEGALIZADO só incentiva a ocupação ILEGAL. Favela é uma ocupação ilegal, contra lei, e ainda as pessoas ai como vc mesmo falou, roubam energia elétrica, água etc. Além de ser ilegal existe a questão ambiental e sanitária de esgoto a céu aberto etc. Ver uma favela dessas não é motivo de orgulho, é uma vergonha e me dá nojo do meu país que permite esse nível de desorganização urbana. Acho que vc devia rever os seus conceitos em vez de ficar glorificando essa desordem que tráz tantos problemas para tantas pessoas.
Ricardo Marino amigo,as pessoas da favela fazem isso EXATAMENTE por que o estado não chega lá.Falha em cumprir direitos básicos pra eles e pro resto da população. E outra, é orgulho sim, porque mesmo em condições de vida realmente não tão boas, o ser humano consegue transcender e se superar. Deve nunca nem ter pisado numa favela ou conversado com alguém. Ou pior, deve ser de uma e não sabe se apropriar de suas reivindicações. Desobediência civil amigo

O brasileiro espera que o estado paternalista resolva seus problemas. Enquanto isso a desordem impera pq a maioria dos brasileiros tem pensamentos como o seu.
