I'd rather First Strike, ATB Ward Down, build to half, ATB boost, entire team has full bar now. Arcane Ward on to Yuffie who I have already told to Doppelganger. Have her cast Cometeor 4x for one cast because yes, it works that way. If it's later in a fight Radiant Ward too. I use Poison and Petrify + Synergy on Aerith so she always has something to cast on the enemy not reliant on weaknesses.

Why use fire when you could use quake - stun lock plus petrify

This has been my build since getting MP absorb on Remake. Can 100% hard mode in under 10 hours with it. Even my 1st run is similar. Just reaching Cosmo Canyon on Rebirth but yeah this is definitely going to be critical on hard mode.

It does work in hard mode

There’s really no point in dynamic mode level 70 play. Dynamic is just synced, it’s no harder than normal mode is at the correct level. Almost all hard mode bosses requires slight changes to materia, and you use things like Barrier and dispel, not 4x fire 😂.
