I think you should try a Dapper Desk planner from Emily Ley! It is a daily planner, Saturday and Sunday have their own pages, it has notes pages, and it doesn't have the weekly prep.

Dapper Desk look like a great option. The thing I know I wouldn't like about it is that both pages are open and takes up double the table space.....I only need to see the one day I am on;) If it was Spiral bound that would be different. I would also miss the hardcover to use to write and the monthly tabs. But you are right.....the one things I would love is full weekend pages with no weekly prep;) Thanks for chiming in!

Thanks for an amazing detailed daily video!! I ordered a Day Designer. Was going to wait for the Emily Ley launch but so glad I watched your video...I'm not a small writer so that would've been too small for me.

The Day Designer for Blue Sky Line (which is also in Target) is most of what is on Amazon. They do have the Flagship Day Designer (which is what I have here in the video) but it is the same price as their site or right around there;) The DD Bue Sky line is the more affordable line;) The paper quality is not the same as the flagship version and the covers are not the same quality. But that matches the affordable price point;) Thanks for watching, and taking time to chat;)

Leaning towards Day Designer. Found one for a steal at Staples in February. And with $20 in rewards, I paid about $10. AND IT’S A FLAGSHIP DAILY! How can you NOT?!? I keep planner hopping and am discovering I need simplicity. I get too wrapped up in the stickers.😩 Even printing and cutting my own inserts was too much. I’m thinking of either using a weekly and the daily or the daily with a bullet journal for ample notes. HMMMM! Any advice on how to stop hopping in and out? What keeps you loyal to your system when there are SO many things?

That is a steal for a Day Designer Flagship! Great way to test it out;) I have always stuck with my weekly planners for long periods.....I pre-plan in my weekly planner (very far out for my kids events & school) And I just hate to jump around bc I have to re-plan all that. When I am happy with a planner I just sit on it and stay there till I am not happy;) I have been in my EC vertical weekly for 10 months now! I do not see myself changing that anytime soon. my daily planner I do not pre-plan in. It's just my To Do list everyday. So I do switch that out for fun simply bc I have a lot of choices with running this channel. But I often just use a notebook or tablet for my daily to do list:) I think that if you found what worked for you then you might not have the urge to jump ship? But you could also be one of those people who just needs & craves change.....and staying in one planner is not fun & fresh to you?

May I also recommend my favorite - the often overlooked Franklin Covey "La Vie En Rose" daily, spiral bound planner. I think this is a perfect option for those who use their smartphones for appointment scheduling and reminders but need a daily ToDo and note taking section. I refer to my iPhone for my appointments and jot them in the "Happening Today" section. This is an utterly indispensable planner for me.

Enjoyed hearing your opinions of the different formats and brands. Which Simplified Cover are you going to order? I am leaning towards the watercolor floral. I enjoyed using it this last academic year. I was just waiting to hear if they were improving the cover. I had the fancy floral design and quite a bit of the gold foil rubbed off within a month of home use. It is missing most of the foil in large areas now. They have a new coating for this new release. The ghosting also bothered me. I had to use a pencil on the days that shared paper with the month layout. I hate ghosting on the month layout, it was worth the inconvenience so I wasn't bugged by it the whole month because of two days. Thanks for all your time and effort you put into your videos.

I am glad the video was helpful, thanks for the kind words of support;) I am still debating my cover choice;) LOL. Thin Happy Stripe or Navy Dot will be my choice;) I honestly am not leaning one way or another....I really want both;) HA. I never had an issue with my 2017 fancy floral gold rubbing off.....but that is good they improved the cover! I am so glad to hear someone else had the same major bad ghosting issue (well not glad...but you know what I mean;) And that was a great idea to use pencil on those 2 days by the monthly! And Watercolor floral is BEAUTIFUL!

Some people offer 6 months at a time like She Plans & InkWELL PRESS; but I have noticed ppl are not too happy when they have to buy 2 books a year?! I myself love an undated Daily, and 6 months at a time is perfect!

I totally feel you on that price point when having to buy 2 dailies a year.....She Plans is such a small company I doubt she can get her prices any lower. IWP is also expensive if you have to buy 2 a year.....BUT they are undated.....so many ppl may not need to get 2 in a year;)

Julia MacInnis Hi! Welcome 👋😊! I use a Daily Simplified Planner & a Weekly Erin Condren. I have a playlist called UPDATES where I give quarterly planning updates;). I also have a video called Daily + Weekly under that Updates Playlist;). I review all types of planners. But that is what I personally use right now. I also share more of how I use my Planners on Instagram;) Hope that helps;)

I don't mind answering any questions! So feel free to ask here, or on Instagram;) I am working on a video that has been a LONG time coming..."How to choose when you are brand new to planners!" Hoping to have that out in November;) Have you decided if you want a daily or a weekly yet? Once you decide that I would look at free printables, and try those out for at least a few days before buying. Many companies offer free printables of their planner pages. Simplified, Day Designer, Passion Planner, Limelife planners.....and there is more that I just can't think of off the top of my head;)

@@AmandasFavorites ha! that would have been great. I think I may have jumped the gun b/c I didn't even know about DAILIES until after I ordered my PP weekly. that's okay. I will likely get a daily from EC or Inkwell -- looks like they have great ones. I am a business owner (photography) and in pre-nursing school and I have a professional actor who is 15 and requires constant driving to rehearsals, shows and lessons....so I need something asap. I honest to god have been completely in the dark...been using ical and an app that wasn't doing NEARLY what I needed it to do. I'm just blown away by this entire industry. Sheesh.

Welcome to the planner world! LOL. It is a rabbit hole for sure, but one I love;) It sounds like you defiantly know what you need, and your on the right track! Some people can manage their life without a paper planner; I can not;)

The only undated coiled daily I know of is the Prayerful Planner but I have not been able to find a full review on it. It is a Christian planner, but the daily pages are plain enough that it's not overwhelming. It has a box with a small header titled "prayer notes" that can be easily covered up and used for something else, if that's not for you.

I have not looked at the prayerful planner. I will have to look them up;) Daily Grace is an Undated Coiled daily planner. Also with Christian Aspects to it;) I have a review on it.

What about the Agendio planner you reviewed? I really like the Agendio design I put together, but I want to know how it compares to EC and PPP. I love EC colors (Agendio seems too washed out) but I want a daily. I love PPP add ons but again, I want the room of a daily. I prefer the coil binding versus the type used for She Plans and Inkwell. I also like the interchangable softer covers of EC, which I assume???? will fit on the Agendio. The Agendio is going to cost a lot so I am hesitant to pull the trigger. Please....do a comparison of those three. I want to know the quality of the paper compared between those three and can the EC covers be used on the Agendio. I also need a July start since our lives revolve around the school year and all those schedules are handed out in September!

Okay;) You are talking about Plum Paper--right? I can do a comparison of those 3 but it's kind of like comparing apples to oranges since I got the daily agendio, and EC & PPP doesn't make a daily. It can go on my video list, but I can't make any promises bc I am not sure it's the best video to make. Agendio daily is so fat to me bc they have more add in pages....and with no hard cover and being so fat it seems a little hard to transport/handle. Agendio colors and font styles are just not my fave if I am being honest. But that is just a personal preference. The O-rings that you don't like are on most daily planners unless they are a bound book. EC covers can not be used on the agendio. Plum Paper you can start any month also, but I am not a fan of their colors....I really wish they would update and change their colors (again personal preference). EC you can of course start in July too (but it's not a daily.) EC paper is #80 amazing paper. Plum Paper is #70 it's good paper, but too slick for my liking (again personal preference) Agendio is #60 paper in their Daily (#70 in their weekly) there paper is fine too me but obiviously thinner than the other 2......My personal favorite dailies are these in this video. Did that help? Any other questions?

Hi Sarah, She Plans did a complete overhaul on her planners for 2019. She has an AMAZING daily now with full Sat/Sun pages. I have a video on her new 2019 planners. I linked it below. All the other planners I listed you can find on my "Daily Planners" Playlist. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mJCoihRN6W4.html Agendio you can have a full day for Sat/sun (you design your own planner. Golden Coil you can have a full day for Sat/Sun ( you design your own planner.) I think Clever Owl might have a full page in their daily. Lots of daily bound planners on Amazon have a page per day (some even 2 pages per day!) Some I have videos on are Panda Planner, Tempus Planner, Clever Fox, Prospr Planner.... You can also just search Daily Planners on Amazon;) Once I get up to my office I will see if I have reviewed any others. Hope that helps;)

I cannot find a planner that works for what I need. I am currently using a weekly spread from Emily Ley, it works but not perfect. My first planner was Ink Well press. Lots about it I liked and lits I miss. I really wish ink well press daily had a monthly spread

Maybe InkWELL will add that monthly spread in next year?! It was their first year with that daily, and I know they do listen to customer feedback, so You may want to email them;) Sometimes we have to try several planners, before finding the right fit. Which is so frustrating when they are expensive. I can't wait to see what InkWELL does for 2019! Good luck finding the right fit. That's the whole reason I do these videos, to try to help;)

My Emily Ley (which is my first from 2018-2019) ghosts and I ended up paying double the price for it in a Facebook group.I won’t be buying another one again due to the ghosting, price, and not having 30-min increments. Plus, the cover gets stuck & doesn’t slide properly,,,

Thanks for chiming in with your experience. I hope you find a planner you love, and you will be worth the money to you. I personally haven't ever had trouble with my Simplified cover...and I've used them for 4 years. I had one year (2017) where my paper ghosted very badly. The past 2 years the paper has been good and I haven't had that issue.
