Sorry this video doesn't go up at 6am mst like my normal schedule. I uploaded this video in a different format, heard it would upload in better quality and holy moly it took several hours lol. Normally it takes about 45 min for a 25 min video. This took 5 hours, at 2am I gave up and went to bed🤣🤣 Hope you enjoy this video and definitely watch out for part 2 all about eye brushes❤❤❤ XOXO
@@TxBeautyQueen83 I think so. I got to find a way to make it less time🤣🤣 I watched his video but he didn't have one for imovie, (or one i could find). I'm still looking into it. BUT, I think you're right. The exporting and rendering IS the issue. I'm SO glad you told me, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Now if I can figure out how to do it where it doesn't take 5 hours, I'll be in business🤪🤪 Thanks my sweets. Your help is SO APPRECIATED 🙏❤💋🦋
@@terrentran1 Thank you for letting me know, I just tried it and you're right, it's not working at the moment. I sent them a message and I'll keep you posted🦋❤ Thanks so much for letting know💋
@@terrentran1 Ok, here is the link, it gives the discount of all Brushes they have, including the $115 Bronzer Brush (which is on back order until August) for $299. I LOOOVE their eye brushes. Best brushes out there, i use them more so than any other brand. My favorite eye Brush is the #13. It's sooooo good for crease work💋 Here is the link, sorry for the confusion, but I'm glad you asked because I didn't realize they changed everything because of Covid and the delays of making the brushes 🤪 rephr.com/complete?vr=DEGEE2E
You’re speaking my language Tara, brushes are one of my many weaknesses! I’ve learned over the years that you can get some pretty awesome affordable brushes as well as high end, and just because a brush is labeled as one thing, you don’t have to use it for that. Brushes are so multi functional for different purposes as you said. Affordable favs are Eco Tools, e.l.f., Real Techniques, Morphe, Royal & Langnickel and several more but the ones listed here are my go-to affordable ones, both face and eye brushes. Higher end favs are Rephr, Sonia G, iT Cosmetics, Sephora Collection. Rephr is tops for their quality, their customer service, and not to mention their brush designs. Their Concept Store is like crack for me because I’m getting some outstanding brushes thanks to their 50% off gift to their customers 🙏🏼 They have all the boxes checked!! Sadly, I’m spent a lot of money on Wayne Goss face brushes as well as Sonia G but I don’t have 1 face brush that I would say is amazing yet. I would like to expand my collection with some more Sonia G but can never time it right for when the brushes I want are in stock. I bought the Hourglass foundation brush because of you and really am enjoying it a lot, so thank you! 😊 IT Cosmetics has a few outstanding face brushes for sure, I totally agree with you. They wash perfectly and they last a long time too. For synthetic brushes they are excellent.👌🏼 Can’t wait for the eye brush video!!! 💛
take care of yourself, Tara Lynn!! I am happy to see your videos whenever they surface. We love you for your personality, your honesty and your hard work( but 5 hrs is too much💋😘💕)
I am such a dork😆 I literally go back to your videos ( that I’ve already watched and commented on) to make sure my purchases for brushes or foundation are good😆.. I trust your judgment and opinion more then anyone on any social media platform.. 🖤🖤🥰🥰
Only own a sigma eye brush set but would love one day when I have some spare $$ to buy 2 natural hair for the contour area. Tara thanks so much for explaining each in detail, what's for what area and what to use cream vs powder or for both as it can get so confusing and one hesitates to select them as due to cost natural hair brushes don't want to get it wrong. A great selection of affordable to luxury was so welcomed too. We all appreciate and love you so much xo's
GIRL, you will love them. I'm glad the code helped you save so much money and I appreciate Rephr for giving me that code to save you all money❤ Out of all my brushes, I use Rephr the most. When I do part 2 and go through my eye brushes, you'll hear my FAVORITE crease brush is the #13. My gosh that brush is BOMB. Eeek. Can't wait for you to get your set🦋🙌 Too bad they are made to order and it takes a month to get them, but it's worth the wait❤❤❤
Yayy liked before even watching!!! Love love love all these brushes! I just adore Rephr so so much. I own doubles of their brushes (3) of the Rephr 22’s Lmao I got the silver handle one on sale 50%. I just ADORE them as a brand all together.
Fluffy Fude yes!!! And 2 of them came FREE with their sets so I only paid the $55 (in their concept store) for the 3rd one!!! Such a steal for such an amazing expensive brush!! 🥰🥰
Great video tara. All those brushes look amazing. I'm loving mine from BH COSMETICS and MORPHE. I have some really good ones from them. Can't wait to see your eye brushes next. 😊
Lol u made me laugh cus that Morphe Blush Brush was the same exact one i use to used before I got into my natural hair babies! You literally used the same words I was saying in my head😂 that brush picks a lot of products I recommend it too👌🏼😘 Great picks hun💯💪🏼
Great video Tara, I Love all your favorites. I own two of the Rephr brush collection sets and love them. Especially the Bronzer brush. I plan on buying some of the SG powder, buffing and the mini cheek brushes.
I use the Wayne Goss air brush for using the CT powder and for setting under my eyes. I love this one because I can’t use much powder under my eyes because of my age and the air brush is blue squirrel hair so it picks up just the tiniest amount of powder and it’s just perfect. For all over powder or sometimes bronzer I use the Chikuhodo Z8. Omg you want to talk about looking airbrushed, this brush is amazing. I think it’s squirrel hair as well so it doesn’t pick up too much powder and it’s sooo soft. Kinkysweat made me buy that one lol. It’s crazy expensive, I think it was $110, but so worth it.
Love all these brushes!! I got the rephr 22 brush in a couple days ago and omg its incredibly soft!! I haven't used it yet since i wanted to wash it before doing so! I washed it tonight so hopefully its dry when i do my makeup tomorrow!! It blew me away at how soft and stunning it is!! Rephr is just blowing my socks off! The shipping is just unbelievable and their brushes are becoming my first grab in my collection! The morphe e4 is the brush i mainly use for bronzer/ contour lol i absolutely love that brush!!! I have the sigma angled contour or soft contour whatever its called lol as a blush brush haha well i did til i got my Sonia g, Wayne Goss and Rephr brushes!!! 💗😚
Haha I’ve been debating about that master face brush for awhile...then I decided to buy it and I’m so glad I did. It is the best one in my opinion also. Just perfect. I also got a pro angle face one and also love it.
Brushes really make a difference for me. I love Sonia G., Rephr, Wayne Goss for natural hair. Elf makes some good ones for synthetic & for concealer I have a Marc Jacobs brush that looks like the Hourglass one only it is a wee bit smaller, It’s Perfect 👌🏼
Tara, I love your brushes and you made me buy several. If possible, please try new Lawless Blush brush, it’s really good. I bought it along with few new blushes that they released!
The elf small stippling brush is just excellent for cream blush. Bought one years and years ago on Emily Noel’s recommendation and I still use it for cream blush (and had to grab a backup). Thanks for the Sonia info re: the foundation. I have the dyed brush (bought for powder) and it works pretty well for foundation, but I’ve heard the dyed brushes aren’t for liquid and cream, so was considering the undyed version. I don’t mind washing, but I’ve also heard they shouldn’t be washed that often. So now I’m conflicted... love your videos! Be well and have a great holiday weekend. 👍🏻 P.S. just bought and received the Rephr bronzer brush... sounds like that was a great decision!
I have watched this video over and over again I love how you know your stuff and your so passionate about it. Please do a video on your favourite brushes now that all these new brushes have been released by Sonia g Wayne goss etc...updates time lol !
I can’t get over how many of your brushes I already own😳😍 I’m super interested in your recommendations for the ones that I don’t have as I think we have very VERY similar taste and technique😆
Ahhh, thank you so much Leazette. You are seriously so sweet and ALWAYS so supportive. I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me. Just know you are special to me and I adore you❤💋❤💋❤💋❤💋
i got repher 17 after watching ur video.. its amazing for cream conture.it goes perfect with hourglass illume sheer trio and tomford shade and illuminate..and many other cream contours!! i also like the sonia g brush but not love that..amazing made though..great video as always💕💕💕💕
I loved this video, I don’t know who I am anymore but I love brushes lol I always add that hourglass brush to my cart but never pull the trigger since the dual sided thing freaks me out in terms of storage lol
Tara, which brush would you recommed not to set your powder but to use as your buffing/finishing powder as your final step to melt everything together besides the Sonia G brush which is way out of current budget?
On a whim I picked up a couple eye brushes from Hakuhodo at IMATS a few years ago. I fell in love with the S100 series with the beautiful vermillion handles. Once I used those two brushes on my eyes, I was hooked on hand made Japanese Fude. You have a great list here...I like some of your synthetic options. I’m still looking for the perfect brush to blend in my Tom Ford Traceless foundation stick.
Thank you so very much for these brush videos!!! I have been trying to decide should I go for the more expensive brushes or can I find pretty decent brushes without spending hundreds of dollars on a set.
Thanks for sharing your brush collection Tara❤️. I got the Rephr brushes for Christmas and they are beautiful......BUT I was disappointed in their marketing. I pre-ordered in October and then a month later they began to offer the powder brush for free with the set. I contacted them and they wouldn’t honor that deal with my pre-order, it didn’t seem right to me. 😢
Oh Angela, I'm so sorry to hear that😢😢 That's a bummer. So far they've been amazing to work with and I've heard great things. But, I know that's not always the case so thank you for sharing your experience ❤💋
Hi Tara! Thank you for this very informative and thorough video. I'm looking forward to part 2! I'm just beginning to realize the difference a good brush can make!❤
Hi Tara. You mentioned that you like the rephr #17 brush for cream contour. Would it work well with the Tom Ford shade and illuminate cream contour?? I really need to find a good brush foe this palette. Is it better to use a synthetic or natural hair with this palette??
For the first foundation brush rhat you mentioned from hour glass , I’m just wondering are you able to also use liquid foundations with that brush or is strictly just for stick foundations????
Hey Tara, I'm surprised you recommended so many Morphe brushes and no BK Beauty brushes for synthetics? I like seeing what other people use brushes for. Love how versatile they are!
Have you tried any brushes from scott barnes? I think the style of them are so interesting and I've recently been curious about japonesque and wayne goss brushes but curious if you've had any experience with any if those
I'm not a fan🤪 They are SO soft and feel amazing on the skin, but they are TOO soft. They just don't end up applying the product the way I like it. Of course i love soft brushes, but these are too soft. Only thing I like about the medium sized one is it's nice to remove under eye powder or sweep away fall out. But, I'm going to watch more videos from other creators seeing how they use them. But, I just don't get it. Lol. Love Wayne, but these are sooooo soft🤷♀️🦋💋
@@TaraLynnbeauty Tara this is such good feedback and I felt similarly about them, but still like them as a collector. I will be uploading my review of them soon where I touch on what you mentioned too. Thank you for your honesty
Hi Tara, have you tried using the Rephr 17 for targeted powder? It is amazing for powdering smile lines, powdering the face, the forehead, etc.. I love my Rephr brushes and BB brushes so much! The Morphe JH bronzer brush is made of natural hair BTW, it just isn't the same grade of goat hair as the Japanese brushes. Dior makes a similar blush brush like the Rephr one,if someone is looking for a dupe. Did you try the Lamer powder brush? Is it a good powder brush?
I didn't know that about the JH brush, good too know❤ I know the Rephr Brush is a little better quality because over time the JH brush gets a little coarse and not as soft, but, still a great brush on a budget🙌🦋💋 Couldn't agree more. Oh and about the LaMer brush, I never bought that one❤
@@TaraLynnbeauty No problem. The white haired brushes from the JH Morphe volan are natural (I bought the eye set). They are good, but definitely not as soft nor do they blend the same as Japanese brushes. Good brushes though on a budget. I didn't try the face brushes. Maybe I'll go for the SG for powder over Lamer, since I love natural bristles so much. Great recommendation! 💜 💜
Ahh that Rephr bronzer brush is so lovely! Glad you were able to pick it up during the half off, I had to have some self restraint and did not pick up a backup.
I need to upgrade but brushes aren’t something I spend a ton on. I have some from elf, Morphe, and BH. They are all all right.. they shed a ton when washing.
Hey Tara. I used your link and your code but it says that the code is invalid. Thanks for the video and please keep me posted as to if the issue is on Rephr’s end.
The Morphe Jaclyn Hill brushs some r natural hair and I believe the bronzer brush is natural haired. It says which r natural in the entire brush collection on their site. Their natural haired brushes feel rougher than like Sonia G or those rephr brushes. I bought the JH full brush set and the natural haired brushes r different than my Sonia and Rephr. I just checked yeah the JH02 bronzer brush is natural hair.
I think a whole video about brushes is too much even though you , Tara, are very easy to listen to, so I suggest to incorporate this topic with other tutorials 💕💕💕
I've had so many people request a video about my favorite face and eye brushes, for the past year the requests keep coming❤❤ Thanks for watching💋💋 XOXO
@@TaraLynnbeauty I loved your video so much and enjoyed seeing all of your favorite brush shapes, then again I could watch brush content all day long 😅. Thank you for this lovely video, I cant wait for Part 2
You have to put the code in at the shopping cart. If you're doing it from your phone you actually have to go backwards. I did it last night, it worked.
I've heard GREAT things about Real Techniques. I don't own any of their brushes, but I've heard they are great quality so thank you so much for sharing❤💋🦋
Hi Tara. Thank you for such an interesting review. I just want to let you know that the code for the rephr brush set didn’t work. The price for the set is 299$.
