Elfs jumbo pencil lipstick in natural is my holy grail shade..I love it any day, any time, any look...I ALWAYS try to find similar shades in other brands. Always nice to get suggestions on nudes, see what others love since those are my go to looks.
You know Em... the more videos I see, the more lipsticks I want.. it's ridiculous! You make me wanna wear everything!! LOL!! Now I need spirit! but I think "Daydream" from nyx suits me better. Now I will be looking for those maybelline ones too! LOVE LOVE LOVEE your swatches.
I always love your videos! What was funny was that I had quite a few of colors that you were showing! I have similar coloring as you do (except when I go and color my hair some crazy violet or fuschia!! then I have to wait for it to grow out a bit and trim some of the bottom while I color the roots as they grow...WHY do I do that?? AAGGG!) But It was nice to see a few that I hadn't tried yet and can go give them a try. Love how you are always so great about showing so many colors and having something for everyone! You are one of my favorite lovely ladies to watch, keep smiling and being such a fun and great spot of enjoyment in my day

GOSH could you tell which one is which in the thumbnail, please? I watched the video now and multiples times years ago, but every time I finish watching it, I'm confused. LOVED Airy Fairy on you though!
I also have issues with the "orangey" nudes. I don't think they look good on anybody really. It is not a tone that is complementary to any skin tone. But the mauvish and pinkish nude are so gorgeous. They just leave a beautiful kiss of color on the lips. They look so natural....
Debbie Lee I feel like they suit some people but not everyone for sure! I'm glad the darker nude trend made me discover so many of these beautiful mauvy lipsticks! :)
Tried 3 of these colors. I think I have cool toned skin and I think picked the most pinky of all of them. They all looked VERY peachy/warm nude on me, not a good look. I was hoping that they would look good since you recommended them for cool skin.
Have you tried Nude by Nature? It's Australian mineral based. You have the same skin tone and hair colour as me so it would be interesting to see how its looks.
Lol I couldn't stop staring at your eyes everytime you rolled them back 😳 but have you tried other elf ones besides natural ? If so , are they just as good ?

strawberrymelly I've struggled a lot with nude lipsticks with my pigmented lips - they would never look the same on me as on other girls :S I used to get them on Cherry Culture but they stop selling them -_- I'm trying to find another place to order them from. I've personally never seen them in stores :s

We have the same favorite nude colours! I feel like we have the same skin tone and lip colour. My favorite colour ever is creme cup by Mac and I love blushing beige by maybelline as well. I hate orangey colours. I'm looking for a colour just like creme cup in a long wearing or liquid lipstick! Any suggestions? It's been impossible for me to find a match!

Love the color of fairest nude but it doesn't last on my lips at all so I never wear it. I put it on and its gone 5 mins later. Even with lip liner or mac prep and prime lip.. loreal formulas I guess just do not work for me
I'm 14 and I love nude lipsticks and I'm pale. I want a lipstick that wouldn't be too dark for my age and that my Mom may approve of. Do you have any suggestions? Would MAC Creme Cup be too dark on me?

hi em.. i have pigmented lips and i am not able to find a good nude lipstick for me. Every shade that looks good in the tube looks washed out on me.. my skin is pretty fair to medium but my lips have darkened due to the medications that i am taking. So, if possible please suggest some nude lipsticks for pigmented lips...TIA :)

beautywithemilyfox The W in NW15-20 stands for warm as in warm toned. Warm toned and yellow toned are the same thing. Cool toned and blue toned (or in the case of someone's face, more pinky than yellow) are the same thing. Basically, when you look at the color wheel, red yellow and orange are "warm" colors that will "jump out at you" where as blue purple and green are cool colors that will recede. So when you have a red lipstick, if it leans on the yellow/orange side, it will be more warm and if it is on the blue/purple side, it will be cool. With your face, if you have a yellowy completion, you have a warm toned complexion. If your face is paler and seems more pinky-blue, you have a cool complexion.
Actually not in Mac foundations! NC are the yellow toned foundations and NW the cool toned ones :) At my palest I'm more cool toned with a tan I'm more on the neutral side!
