Yes, you heard right, Eduard Seafiree XV. Actually, this is the Eduard Spitfire Xv and Airfix Seafire XVII mash up! Welcome to the next in the series of my favourite models from the cabinet, I hope you enjoy it.
Hi Jamie - That is fantastic. I have the Special Hobby Seafire XV and I will be chuffed if it comes anywhere close to yours. Have you read ‘They gave me a Seafire’ by Mike Crosley? He flew the XV at the end of the war in Australia, he described it as deadly to any other than a very experienced pilot. BTW Google says the engine is a Griffon VI. Cheers.
Another beauty - serious question - What do you do if you do build a bad looking model? or do you never get that far down that road. As for the Judges - crabs?
@@thescalemodellingcafe Having struggled with a similar thing myself I know where you are coming from, even seeing medical and work related specialists I now cope with it knowing that I will NEVER achieve 100% but giving 100% to try to achieve it - sounds cliched. Back on Topic you never build a bad model to my eye and I hope I can get somewhere close BUT an excellent ethos to have!
