When I first started playing Rocket League, I would watch matches with the pros and I would think to myself: How the fuck are they doing ANY of that? Now that I have over a thousand hours into Rocket League, I watch these ... and still think to myself: How the fuck are they doing ANY of that?

When they say Garrettg is the only one on NRG that looks for demos bruh you ever watch squishy? Almost every time he goes back he looks for a demo. I’m pretty sure every pro rocket player looks for demos 95% of the time it’s just situational a lot of people don’t chase as hard as Garret and Arsenal do for a demo is the difference imo

NRG always seem to look like they're doing bad and losing the first and second game usually, but instead all they're doing is reading every single play and calculating the best tactics to combat against the other team. This happened here and in the match against G2 for the Haunted Hallows cup. So impressive!

I woke up while this was playing and didn't see the date so I was SO confused by the predictions lmao

Feel like Nrg would have won if they were more aggressive and possessed the ball more. Faze clan were smart they boost starved Nrg which ultimately slowed down their speed and therefore it was easier to keep possession of the ball for longer. You can see even whenever nrg was trying to clear the ball with a big boom to the other side faze clan would cut the ball from the middle of the field. Nrg could have done better, but overall very fun match and both teams were doing good/ squishy is nuts but here he was taking too much time trying to outplay faze clan with making smart decisions but that slowed down his play most of the time.

I totally agree with Johnnyboi, NRG with this playstyle on LAN is asking to lose they cannot be this passive.

What a match up! On the edge of my seat the entire time. Was rooting for NRG but what a shift in confidence and aggression by faze in that final set props to all players.

Squishys ceiling shot in season 6 got me into this game and it was a great decision. I started free styling and slowly transitioned into ranked. Currently it’s my longest played time game right now and my highest rank so far is gc2 Div3.

Are the players playing with the ball on lock ?

Somehow these guys can do ANYTHING they want in the game... Except shoot it right at the goal 100% of the time. Sometimes they are trying to bounce it off the backboard I understand that... But even when they are actually shooting they somehow can't aim it accurately every time. Even with all the crazy aerial gameplay and mechanics. I kinda shake my head like, "How you miss? You are a pro." It's kinda funny. Still crazy to watch though, and way higher level gameplay than I'm capable of. lol. :)

Wow squishy definitely looked and played like a backpack in that tournament, the poor shots, whiffs on hits and lack of follow up was just uncharacteristic

Faze pisses me off they always think there good at games and there not there nothing special I just think they do come of with good tactics but out everything there not a good team especially since they tend to mess up a lot.
