Join Vanadam as he coaches other halo players to help increase their rank in Halo: Infinite. Vanadam has been Onyx rank in every halo game (Reach,5 and infinite) and reached very high ranks in Halo 2 and 3 solo queue. With over 14 years of insight I help players who want to improve reach higher ranks. These videos are intended to help players understand the dynamics of solo play in halo infinite to help them gain CSR and push to higher ranks. One of the biggest challenges of climbing in this game is understanding team dynamics in pick up groups and how your actions cause more things than you realse.

Great video man. You actually inspired me to make my own coaching video. I’m totally new to making videos but I’ve enjoyed these so much that I wanted to try it. I found the channel after getting back into halo for the first time in years. I used to be a highly ranked halo 3 player before I stopped. Back to the grind 👍🏼

@@VanadamYT I am just getting back into infinite after not playing halo for many years. Started with campaign then switched to multiplayer. I go back and forth between mnk and controller and I do about the same on both. My problem is I always die a lot and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Any pointers on not dying?

This is the first time i've seen your channel. This is great content. This is the type of stuff I expected from shy but never saw. The arial view with the colored triangles is gold. That's the mental image people need to be able to understand while playing.

Awesome analogy when you said “it’s like he’s in multiple places at the same time” that’s exactly how he is. He’s so dynamic and elusive he knows where you’re before you even know where you’re.

Another great vid. With watching videos like this and watching some HCS for the first time in Arlington, it's nice to know that good players and even pro players get smacked in a game once in a while. I did want to ask about the habit some of the pros have of looking straight at the ground. It gets mentioned in the video, and I assumed it was a momentum thing until now. Could you go into more detail about it, possibly in a later video? Great content, as always. I had fun playing a couple matches with you on stream the other day.
@VanadamYT
@VanadamYT Год назад
theres 2 reason pros would look at the ground: 1. previously in infinite you could do something called a "snap slide" which you cant do any longer. its where you use momentum by sliding into a wall in a certain way that caused you to be launched out of it. 2. "Strongsiding" (legendary halo pro who played on teams such as Final boss [Walshy / iGoturPisola etc.]) is where you look at the ground because it makes your spartan arch over so you're physically harder to headshot if you're moving directly AWAY from the target :)

Great breakdown, Adam. Loved it and watched it 3 times so far. I wanted to ask you about Cody's last video on the "intentional descoping" he does. I see Pros do this all the time. It makes a lot of sense. My question though is if this is as affective with M&K? I use a mouse and tried this in academy and it seems pretty tough if your zoom key is the right click. You almost to do a 2/1 drum pattern, if that makes sense. Do you do something similar? Thanks again, as always. Cheers! - Jeremy
@VanadamYT
@VanadamYT Год назад
Hey! intentional descoping is done so your sens changes at the time you intend. i also do this by having zoom on "hold" so i quickscope zoom and shoot when im long range dueling. on controller it prevents you from windmilling. on MNK if you have sens steps between scoped and unscoped it also has a similar effect. :)

There are many points where you point out advantages of MnK, what are the advantages of a controller if any?
@VanadamYT
@VanadamYT Год назад
hugely superior tracking due to aim assist. with so much of the game being tied to the BR and your performance with it, the aim assist is so strong for most players it trumps any advantage of running mnk. Additionally, due to input and engine settings, the input of a controller gives better strafe inertia, meaning that controller strafe is faster and better than mnk as well as offering full 360 mobility without having to turn away from the target as WASD on keys can only move in cardinal directions once engaged in a fight :)
