What do you mean all these shootings? Are you the type of person that assumes something happens a lot if you hear about it? New York doesn't have that many shootings in terms of rates, it just has a lot total because it's the biggest US city. New York actually has the lowest murder rate of any major US city, literally any.

CRIME RATES PER 100,000 PEOPLE (for example) MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN : about a half million people 1597 MURDERS per 100,000 people NEW YORK CITY : EIGHT MILLION MORE PEOPLE than Milwaukee ONLY 3 MURDERS per 100,000 ppl. Milwaukee's murder rate is 33 TIMES HIGHER THAN NEW YORK, . . . . . . GET IT????
