Why would it be a good program to make convicts work around crime as a restart/rehabilitation initiative? Couldn't be more obvious a doomed failure, and a waste of money. They could of gave job training instead.

They should have them work with several police officers and social workers...and teachers. It should be more diverse in faculty members educational background as well as in ethnicity.

Sure the program is a little disorganized, but you got to admit it was well intentioned to have former convicts intervene on acts of violence, occurring in the streets in an attempt to make the streets safer.
This is sad. So many times good intentions to help those with troubled past can become victims by the ones they are trying to help. I’m sure they have helped some who really wanted help. Why not put the money towards youth crime prevention. Stop the crime’s before they start.

I'm sure not even one out of every ten Baltimoreans even knows where tax dollars are actually spent. Even less are aware of where Federal tax money goes.
