Shantay Jackson is resigning from her post as the leader of the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement, also known as MONSE, according to several sources.
Hours after the story broke, Mayor Brandon Scott and Director Jackson released a lengthy statement confirming the news, noting Jackson's resignation is effective June 30, 2023. In the statement, Mayor Scott praised Jackson for her efforts leading MONSE.

BIGGEST JOKE EVER. These people more drama to the community, they are all criminals and gang members. The just look out for their friends and family members and help them sell drugs. They leak info into the streets about investigations and put civilians in danger if they report crimes. They extort the community and make you have to deal with them if you want to do anything positive, steal your ideas and initiatives and use them to get grant money. THEY DO NOTHING FOR THE COMMUNITY. The have sex with desperate women in the offices and eat up all the food that is meant for struggling families. As one that's spent a career as a CPA/Forensic Accountant, I would say that this warrants definite concern. I've identified fraud on several occasions with several people having lost their jobs, including CEO's. There are characteristics that they exhibit. Defensiveness is a HUGE one. Anyone unwilling or reluctant to "open the books" is usually hiding something. Deflection is another characteristic. Look at how great this or they are, everything's okay. I imagine when that organization is opened to scrutiny, rats'll be a runnin and a dodging. In my line of work, when you see smoke, there's almost always a flame 🔥 burning somewhere.
