A common thing in FIFA 23 that you may still need to be conscious of in FC24 was that sometimes when you signed a player to your academy, their stats wouldn't suit the position they played in so you would have to change their positions and watch their overall skyrocket. So be careful of this before you release a youth player
@@ratdyt it needs football knowledge from you, as the manager. Look at the youth player you just signed to join your youth academy. If he has a disappointingly low overall rating, but he has at least a decent minimum potential rating, his current position is probably not the position where he is at his best. So you look at his stats. For example, you have signed a youth player who is a central midfielder, a CM. But you see that he doesn't have good passing stats on average, but he has (for example) great physical stats, and maybe a great sliding tackle stat or standing tackle stat. Combined with decent speed stats (to keep up with the opponents strikers while running and marking) you can train that youth player into a central defender or maybe a left back or right back. Or maybe your central midfielder has better attackings stats, such as agility, dribbling, and shooting (long shot, finishing, for example) so you can look at making him a CAM or a LW or RW (agility is very useful especially for wingers)
I did a scout report in Sweden for 3 months in my Burnley save and searched for technically gifted player and got a player called Ahmed Igurdsson with a value of a whopping 4,3 million euros and his rating was 73. Greatest find in my fifa career
Thank u so much bro! Now everry player in my academy is like 56-66 rated and nearly everyone got up to 94 potential. I even got 3 +1 million players in one scouting report!
I had found a unique trick to finding good YA players as well! Apparently, scouting in a Youth Scouts home nation works well as well! Last year, I found good YA players in Albania and Greece consistently, this year, Norway and a little bit less from Germany.
I like to go with 4/4 scouts or 5 experience 4 judg. This gives me late 50 OVR with 94 POT. I then decide what position I want them to eventually be and before they are trained in that position sign them to the 1st team. They usually come in on prospect or sporadic contracts so I don’t need to play them all the time and just send them out on loan until they’re ready.
Alr found tons of gems in scouting projects, but here are a few countries and positions i like to scout: South Korean wingers (or Asian in general) Estonian players (any) Turkish playmakers Btw another thing is you can actually get a homegrown talent in fc24, and i can confirm it by experience cause it happened to me in my current career mode (even if he had an absolutely garbage overall and stats to start with, with about 9 seasons, he became a 94 rated striker)
Thing is with coaching staff i have a aston villa career going but i can only appoint 10 coaches when my recommended stars is like low to mid 20s ea need to make it so the bigger your club gets the more coaches you can hire
Searching for a specific position can be a bit of a waste anyway as many youth prospects are in the incorrect position and need to be retrained to a different one. It's also the reason why some have high potential but low value (wrong position = low overall)
1:51 Sometimes I find it fun to mess around with this, I sent a scout to France to find a RB that plays like Frimpong and he scored 22 goals one season, more then my ST
My only question is, is there an importance in wage? Obviously, value provides its own hint, but is wage anything more than just another thing to pay attention to in the club budget?
That depends on the type of career mode you’re playing to be honest. If you need the player quickly then not as long - but if you’re playing a career mode not Youth Academy centric then you should leave the player in the Academy as long as possible.
What does PlayStyles 1-3 mean in the Attributes section for YA players? I assume every number points to a certain one. 1 --> Tiki Taka 2 --> Gegenpress etc. Do you have any idea? Thanks Self Edit : Oh i guess it is the number of potential PlayStyles for a player :) now it makes sense
Is it weird that another factor I use is if their generic face is good or bad lol. Can’t stand generic faces, especially bad ones. Hojlund getting a game face is a massive win
Regarding scouting network : If I only set position without any specific type, does It mean that I have less chances to get high potential players ? For instance I sent a scout in Germany for my Hamburger SV career mode, I've only put CM as position and no specific type, Does it reduce chances to get high potential youth players ? Thanks in advance for your answer And thank you for your incredible work Greetings from Lyon, France
I’m really confused I promoted 4 players to the pro team from the 4 positions the objective told me to but it still says 0/4 what did I do wrong please and thank you
@@Jobber8270This has been my answer to it as well. If the players are already in your youth academy it won't work. They must be scouted, signed to YA and then promoted.
I promoted some big talents to my first team and let them play a lot as substitute in my first. But almost all of them after 1,5 year don’t grow a lot as player or didn’t increase at all. Even players with 88-94 potential increased only by 2 or 3 points. But if i send a player on loan the player immedatly grow with 6 to 8 points without any match played and a lot fewer club… Can someone help me with this problem?
Look at the player's status in squad hub if they're over 60 overall. It will say a one of a few things. If it says "Showing Great Potential" it means 80-85 potential. If it says "An Exciting Prospect" it means 86-90 potential. If it says "Has Potential to be Special" it means 91+ potential. If it doesn't say any of these, then the potential is lower than 80.
@@narrator7471 Also, if the player has a good season then they'll upgrade the status to next season. It does work on some youth academy players, but not all. E.g I had a Colombian striker that was "an exciting prospect", he was on top form all season. The next season he had "has potential to be special"
it’s a month from when you send them out but if you don’t know that go to youth scout staff and where is sees like the end date or whatever it shows the day of the month, it’s the same for all the months they are out
PlayStyle+ was initially only supposed to be for the elite players and not YA players. However, a bug did allow some PlayStyle+ YA players & REGENS. EA says the bug has been fixed. So it all depends on if you started a career mode in the window where the bug allowed PlayStyle+ to randomly appear.

How rare are youth academy players getting a play style+ I also got one that developed one over time, not sure if that’s because of an update they made though
@@FCGems yeah, the one I got was a youth academy player that I think was a homegrown, like he was in the club when I created it. He started out with no play styles and then I loaded up the game one time and all of a sudden he had 2. I assumed it was from an update but idk, I also loaded up again today for the first time in a while and he had the chip playstyle+ which is extra weird cause he is a CB. I do play through a with all of youth academy talents but this is the only one this happened with. Weird
How can you actually cheat in career mode? You using the flaws in the game to an advantage. Only cheating if you gain an unfair advantage over an opponent 🤣
