• Barca in a 4-3-3 with: - Possession - playing in small spaces - High pressing - everybody is moving - everybody is free - working for each other - Having fun together - offensive style - Creativity in the midfield - No one is waiting for Messi to take the decisions 🤦🏾♂️ I miss this Barca 😢
that's the whole point of recording matches, to see it without actually being at that place in that time.. you can check them out, they are nothing like this
I don't know why I am here.. I am just a real madrid fan! but I love football and I can't believe I watched 37 minutes of Barcelona destroying every team.. great football.. great video!
Best team I've ever seen, even better than 08-09 and 14/15 Barca. Xavi was just so fucking good man, literally almost never played a wrong pass this entire season I swear lol. It was all topped off with another masterclass over Man U in the final, true football royalty.
I find that the best way to describe Barça´s possesion back here is that it was as seamless, fluent, and natural, as waves washing onto a beach ... again and again. TRULY HYPNOTIC! MESMERISING!
Most people are saying that the current Madrid team is the best team ever......They won back to back UCL's and La Liga...and Barca had their worst season ever and they only lost by 3 points.....This Barca team was by the best team to ever touch a football pitch...all together. this was the real barca.
You can't use a la liga table as reference to your argument. Barcelona's squad in the 2010-11 season is one of the greatest, if not *the* greatest footballing team to ever grace the sport. That being said, would it be rational to say that Real Madrid's 2011-12 squad was better because of having 100 points by the end of the season to Barcelona's 96 of 2010-11? No, of course not. It's actually a great comparison, both the Real Madrid of 2016-17 and Barcelona of 2010-11 were knocked out of the Copa Del Rey, won the League, won the Champions League, won the UEFA Super Cup, won the Supercopa De Espana, and both look to possibly win the Club World Cup. If you ask me, this Real Madrid squad dominates in depth and stability, however that Barcelona squad dominated in style and flare. Zidane is set to build a dynasty at Madrid, a squad that will last for 20 years, unfortunately Guardiola did not have the same intentions. I'm personally in love with both squads. I would die to watch both Barcelona of 2010-11 and Real Madrid of 2016-17 play a competitive match against one another. EDIT: Barcelona's 2016-17 season was far from their worst seasons ever.
Football Chronicles your obviously new to football mourinhos madrid was way better than this madrid the only reason why he didnt win much was because of peps barca
Back to back La Liga's? They haven't won it in three years until their recent one 16-17. Plus their champions leagues are so ridiculous, 2016 they faced Wolfsburg in round of 16????? LOL a poor bundesliga team, and they barely won their other games by last minute goals. 2017 three offside ronaldo goals, plus two red cards in back to back quarter final games????? (this has nothing to do with the above video :) ) Aswell as continuously facing a choking Athletic side. Give us Madrid past group stage and we will eliminate them like we did before.
i am not even a barcelona fan but the performance against madrid is the most perfect performance i have ever seen!!!!! 37 minutes video about total and enjoyable display of football,,pep guardiola made an georgeous job with that team
When I first started to watch football, Pep Guardiola's Barcelona was in its prime. Unfortunately, I failed to realise how fantastic and rare that team was, given that I was new to football and my sample size is so small. I just thought they were another great team. Looking back after 10 years though, damn, how wrong I was. I haven't seen a single team that plays at their level, not even close. Just wish that I could travel back in time to watch this team again.... Really should have appreciated Pep's Barcelona more than I did...
Although the team of Barcelona 2008/2009 won the most trophies ever, as far as im concerned, the team of Barcelona 2010/2011 has still been remained as the best football team in history ever in my memory. They used to overwhelmingly dominate all other teams so easily and effortlessly back then. It was literally the team without equal.
@@vainglories7512 yea but the football they played in 2011 was statistically and stylistically superior to 2009. Barca' controlled every game averaging 70% posession regardless of the result.
Who else came here after the 8-2 from bayren to remember the good old days. It's so sad to see how Barca lost their magic nowadays feels like an era has ended.
Júlia tipo e nem se quer gastou dinheiro com XAVI, Iniesta, Messi, busquets, Pedro e montou esse Elenco claro que o próprio Guardiola montou desde a base
Thanks so much for compiling this. Amazing to watch and this is the reason I love football. This has to be the best team in football history not only cuz of what they won but the way they won it.
Oh-oh, ooh You've been runnin' round, runnin' round, runnin' round throwin' that dirt all on my name 'Cause you knew that I, knew that I, knew that I'd call you up You've been going round, going round, going round every party in L.A. What I really see from this Barca and the current one is that the current one is just so static, pragmatic and naive. No one does these off the ball movements which open up defences. Probably this is what led to individual qualities from Messi saving our asses from time to time
Take a moment to appreciate how good Pedro was. Such an underrated player by many fans and followers of Barca, but the team sure knew his value back then.
why is this the best team of all time? we dont have the most athletic /technical/ physical players in every position. but not only were we effective in games, the manner in which we played and dominated games, even the ones we lost, was simply beautiful. that was when i fell in love with this club
its all about magical midfield trio XBI (Xavi-Busquet-Iniesta), they won everything in club level (barcelona) and from national team (Spain- Euro and World Cup) - sometimes people talks more about Pep Guardiola or Lionel Messi and forgets the real reason behind success of barca (as well as spain) from 2008-2012,
N.B. YASMALEE Guardiola was the mastermind of this team. Look at what happened when Guardiola left Barcelona, they never played exactly the same way they did under Pep. Of course, thank God for Johan Cryuff who was the one who brought this style to Barca.
This is proof, Barca do not need expensive signings. Look at this team. Nothing expensive. The main core part of this team was trust each others. Barca nowadays just depends on Messi so much.
the main core was also what can easily be considered the most technically gifted quadruo ever in midfield, the greatest player of all time, one of the best attacking full backs of all time, two of the greatest center backs of all time, and Pep Guardiola. It's more than just "trust each other"
Yes. Obviously the problem with the recent Barcelona team. In this video we saw Villa, Dani Alves and Pedro build up play to score without Messi but recently Messi has to do everything ; assist and score.
@@ozzythestunner Honestly the midfield needs to start pulling more weight, and messi needs to start trusting the midfield more and stop dropping so much. Hopefully if frenkie de jong and melo are able to link up like xavi and iniesta, messi will not drop into the center and 'ruin' the flow of the midfield and allow the two to pull the strings and he wont carry such a huge burden.
Best gameplay of all time for me, followed by the Madrid team that won 4 ucls in 5 years. I can see why El Clasico is the best derby in the world, both clubs are simply greatests - From a LFC as you can see
I have wasted countless time on the Net searching for stuffs of this kind but my effort had proved fruitless. Thank God I finally find one today. God bless u man for ur effort! .
Best team I ever saw. The combination of quality, dominance and success has not been matched in my life. The Man United (07-09) team was amazing. The Bayern Munich (13-17) were great, AC Milan (03-07) performed well in Europe, the Madrid team of 16-18 was hugely successful but never gave the vibe of being better than every team and being the most dominant team. This Barca imposed their will. They were by far the best team in the world, at a time when Madrid were no scrubs and teams like Bayern, Chelsea, Inter, AC Milan, Man United were at world class levels. And the core of the team formed one of the greatest National Teams as well.
one of the moments i remember the most was in away game againts mallorca, it was the second half and barca was wining only 1-0 barca had a corner and puyol and pique went foword for it , nothing happand from the first cross but then barca did amazing thing , pique and puyol stayed in the box for 2 more minutes! they didnt came back to deffense , barca was so sure they going to score so pique and puyol stayed in the attack and in the end one of them scored from a rebound i just cant remember who
Le FC Barcelone est la plus sublimissime équipe de tous les temps et il n'y a aucune contradiction possible à ce propos! FC Barcelone is the best terrific team of all time and there is not any discussion possible about it!!
33:29 'now words are meant to complement the pictures but it's impossible to compliment the way Barcelona are playing'. 04:32 'they are the big entertainers, and that's the biggest of the lot, lionel messi' Each of them was so confident on the ball and spatially creative. 03:05 When Alves wasn't playing CF, Iniesta was tracking back to RB, or Abidal was standing in as a third CB. The setup was so mobile cuz each player prioritized the collective's dominance, leaving no room for weak links. It's astonishing how cohesive disorderliness could be when coordinated by a mastermind like Pep.
i wanna thank whoever uploaded this. I've been searching for something like this. It is so fascinating to watch Barcelona's passes during this era or I could say their glory era. :D Thanks again!
Unbelievable team . The greatest football team ever. This team was stacked with talent .Messi , XAVI, iniesta, Busquets, Villa, Dani alves, puyol, pique, and pedro. Man l can't think of any team that played better football than this Barcelona team and l gotta give it to pep Guardiola he was the mastermind.
10:54 Even Messi was caught off guard by the genious of Dani Alves! I feel he doesn't get enough credit as Xavi and Iniesta, maybe for not being a midfielder, but his understanding with Leo is unmatched. Not surprisingly Dani is the player with most assists to Messi's goals.
what about NOW!! Obviously im not saying that we are back with the same old footballing flare, actually nowhere near, but still we are at the top after being called a "sinking ship" and what not. #ViscaElBarca
Why does it look so simple yet so hard for the rest? Just stop the ball, pass it and move, period!! I know there are those who dont like this style, this team and I understand,I really do.
What a breathtaking & amazing spectacle! The term 'tiki-taka' is a misnomer. Guardiola's version of Tiki-Taka at Barcelona was mesmerizing & an absolute delight to watch. The boring 'Tiki-taka' that people usually refer to is the version that Spanish National Team under Vicente Del Bosque played or more recently the slow, aimless passing game with no clear intention or urgency that the German national team under Joachim Loew plays. It's high time that Spain reverted to the kind of joyful football that was displayed by Luis Arragones' team at the Euro 2008. As for Germany, they have to go back to the direct, attacking football that Jurgen Klinsmann brought after their disappointing Euro 2004.
