i'm guessing it's far less than the number of people who've been hit in the back of the head by a rogue frisbee or a football in their local park, attacked by a dog, or slipped over on wet pavement. I can't really imagine being hit by a drone being anything more than a mild inconvenience
I first flied my Avata 2 yesterday, and I also noticed it instantly started losing connection when not in direct line of sight. I expected it to be *much* better, and it doesn't even feel like a big upgrade over my original mini (connectivity wise, not bitratw), which is saying something. It's a bit of a bummer, but it's the only negative thing I found. Next week I'll be in Canada so I'll get to actually use it properly.
It''s because your Goggles 3 are close to RF sources. Find a better location. And put an empty 0 kb file called ham_cfg_support on the sd card of your goggles. It will unlock full 1600 mw power in CE mode.
good video i may consider buying a dji avata 2 since its close to my birthday and am considering switching from my dji mini 3 to dji avata 2 ( thats if i can afford it)
I switched from my original mini to the avata 2. It's totally worth it so far, and I've barely touched half of the features. Might use the mini for some shots still, but I doubt it.
@@KiemPlant Honestly you can still fly the Avata 2 similar to a cinematic drone. RC in normal mode with panning shots, gimbal tilts, etc. Stabilize with Gyroflow and add horizon lock and nice stabilization and you're flying a cinematic drone with a huge FOV and that can fit through small gaps and fly indoors :D
Hello! I see people saying that the HAM file works for them... Does anyone know if it works with the recent Avata 2 update? I mean, the version that allows you to record in 4k100fps and use Goggles 2. Thanks!
I noticed a speed reduction after installing the new firmware. So i tried formating the card again and uploading the Ham file again. I have not tested if the speed is back yet. It went from doing 100kph to only 80 in any direction.
You simply don't get how Telecom regulation and rules are imposed obviously. It's not allowed to sell and market FCC radio signal strength gear in the WiFi frequency band spectrum. But it's totally risk free as an enduser@@M1R0_Life_through_a_lens
FCC mode working with ham file, i tried one weak ago. Flying in fcc mode is safer because it is easier to get out of trouble, e.g. when the drone flies down. We have more power and it really is safer. Flying in this mode is, in my opinion, much more difficult, I flew like this for a week and it was a disaster.
Hello. Yes that's the catch. The CE is there to prevent the drone to go too far but it also lacks the power... a strange desition from DJI. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
Ha! Partly true. But if you want to follow the rules, then the CE mode (in Europe) is all you need. The FCC is better though ;). Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
@@M1R0_Life_through_a_lens No, you need a spotter and you need to make sure to keep close enough that the spotter can see the drone at all times. Nobody follows those rules just like people jaywalk and walk through red lights all the time and download movies on the internet.
@@KainniaKuntill you get caught and get charged😂. I see you commenting in other videos and I have a question, so in the EU can you use normal and sport mode out of the box? I read that the manual mode is not an option? So no point on getting the rc3? Thanks
It's not a crack. It's build in by DJI engineers. Putting ham_cfg_support on the sd card of your Goggles 3 also works and in CE mode will give you full 1600 mw of power.
So your conclusion is that according to you FPV goggles should be illegal to be sold in Europe. Also should we report you for flying without a spotter in this video? We have evidence your drone was 400 meters away, where no spotter can see it anymore. And behind a building. You broke the rules!
RU-vid is loaded with videos that show violations, when the jackboot lands there will be many wishing they didn't post their illegal activities, I really enjoy watching the distance test videos.
