Car looks great! Staggered fronts is the best way to setup Hondas, silver volks for the win. This video makes me regret not buying my brothers CSX Type S before he sold it.
Awesome!! I definitely need a 06-11 civic lx roof on my type-s Acura/fd2. its one of my biggest pet peeves for the 8th gen si civics is that they never could come without a sunroof from factory, slick top will always look much better in my opinion. Great video the car has come a very long way!!
Not sure how i stumbled across this channel but I am thankful for the algorithm. Love the car man and its setup nearly identical to my 9th gen. My favorit part is definitely those fenders and I would love to run something similar on mine...even if I have to custom make them.
can't wait to see your times next year, you put down some great times this year. i'm working on a k24 ep3 build right now that i'm hoping to get under 2min
Love the car man, keep it up I’m definitely a fan! I’m from Seattle but stationed in Japan right now hopefully soon ill be complete the my feels front end! Would definitely love to meet up !
You did an amazing job on this car and it looks just like something you'd see at Tsukuba time attack events. Would love to build one of these! -- How many miles are on this car? Seems like a lot that I've seen have high mileage
I wanted an opinion, I sold my old Volkswagen and I want to fulfill my wish of having a Honda! , in my country Brazil, the price of the Civic 8 generation with the 140 horsepower R18 engine and the Fit 2 generation with the 116 horsepower 1.5 engine are very similar, which would be the best choice? honda fit 2 or civic 8? Thanks, I love your videos
@@vicentejuniiior I much prefer the L Series engines found in a Fit than the R18 found in 8th Gen. Fit would be my pick. Also smaller and easier to drive on the tighter Brazil streets.
Thanks for your help, I'm going to start researching some Honda FITs to buy, I also want to eventually use it on the track, hot laps and track days, it's going to be my only car for everything, I believe I can have a lot of fun with the Honda fit
Couldn’t really make out the brand of your engine mounts. My stock ones are about to go so looking into ordering new ones. Could you send me the link to these ones . And how’s the vibration with them ?
yo how did you get to -4.5 degrees in the front? I have BC's and I max out the camber plates, I also double up on maxed out eccentric camber bolts and I'm only hitting like -2.8 degrees. Are fortune auto top hats not limited by the strut towers in terms of camber adjustment? Or you got any other methods for getting extra camber. Thanks!
The top holes that connect the coilover to the knuckle are elongated allowing more camber adjustment. Think of the bolt hole being an oval vs a circle.
@@reshinguneko2355 Oh word. That’s nice if they come from fortune like that. Never had any issues with your adjustment slipping? I guess I’ll just take a carbide burr to mine and extend the hole.
you can use 3mm sheets of abs from an industrial suplier wich will be probably one the cheaper mods on your car, if you access to a lift the whole process will be easier but will still require some fabrication for the mounting with rivet inserts and brackets. its the most impactful aerodynamic modification if done right since its such a big area to work with@@reshinguneko2355
