What exactly is Ladder 7’s second piece...“SOC Support”?

SOC support trucks have a second apparatus (Ford F550's) that carry additional tech rescue equipment, some shoring materials, and other specialized equipment. Members of SOC support trucks receive additional rescue training to help assist in collapse boxes, high angle, and other technical rescue operations. They're not up to the level of training as Rescue and Squad companies, but they can assist them
