Hazmat was created because of what happen to 6 firefighters back in Nov 1988 in Kansas City, Missouri. Ammonium Nitrate blew them up there wasn't much left of the firetrucks or the firemen.
The right equipment for the job,John,and well trained members of special unit of the FDNY does makeva big difference. A positive attitude usually brings positive results.Science in high school was a weak point,BTW.

There's something called hazmat 1& Hazmat 2. These are so many hours of classroom education Offered by each state university wherever the firefighters are trained. Also lots of continuing education.

That's a Blowhard positive pressure fan, they running off of battery, they can run hour and a half or so on low speed, 35 minutes on max speed. They can run on AC if the battery goes dead. They do a nice job.
