I like the thoughtful touch of adding a plate on the cab face for wiper mechanical access. I just happened to notice this random detail, my old truck didn't have access on the front.
SI is so slow I could never work there. My cousin works in Brooklyn Engine 222 he had to come to SI for a week he said it was the slowest week of his life. Only runs were to get food lol

The one with the big number 5 on it is the old Rescue 5, I assume it is going to be used as the new spare unit, or it has some major mechanical problem and will sit there and collect dust. Not sure if this new R5 was simply due for replacement or if something happened to the old rig.
If you mean the one that left with Rescue 5 then that is a unit that has extra water rescue capabilities (hence the raft and crane to lower it into the water and it's high stance to get through flooded areas.)
The one that is labeled on the truck TSU 2 @3:04! What is that used 4 and what and what would I put in if I wanted to look it up on the internet? Actually thanks never mind I may have figured it out!!!
@@nkervmedia , they are ALL in the process of being built, R-5 is just the first off the assembly line , R-4’s new rig is in the city and having the final touches done and should be in service soon.
