I'm still chuckling at the fact that Sunnyvale is about to probably get hit by a load of misfortune to make up for all the shit Shadysiders had to put up with for centuries.

I know I will sound sadistic, but they (Sunnyvale) deserve it. From what we saw even from a young age they whould mistreat Shadysiders for no reason (they didn't even bother to meet them), I can only imagine Shelia or those other brats having to work in a Shadyside mall for extra money since the jobs in Sunnyvale probably went down the drain. Just imagine Shelia having to serve Ziggy at Mcdonalds or a trift store...

The fear street books were often extremely gory, especially the death scenes. They were nothing like the goosebumps series except that they were both technically horror for kids. But fear street was more for teenagers leaning towards young adults while goosebumps was more for 8 to 12.

I feel this trilogy is very different from any other trilogy in that connected, it feels like one long 6 hour movie. And that's exactly how I watched it. I LOVED this trilogy I felt like they did a thorough job of connecting everything and explaining/showing all the little details that came full circle. I felt like every moment was important to absorb to piece everything together and things moved quickly because of that (didn't think the story dragged). As others have mentioned I'd love for the other notable serial killers that were prominently featured on screen to have their stories told but only if they're told in order and open and shut such that they don't create holes in the trilogy. However, wouldn't mind seeing the domino effect each has after the other as far as how it impacted the residences like Ruby Lane clearly did with her mom.

I’ve been meaning to watch these movies from what it looks like in this comment section it was actually surprisingly good I did however watch the first 15 minutes of the first part of the fear street series wasn’t bad at all reason why I’m so hesitant to watch it is because I’m very picky with horror movies nowadays because they’re not made the same as they used to be. It doesn’t have to be a movie made in the 70s or 80s but very low quality horror movies that are just made for scares and get people to buy tickets just because of money resulting in a horrible movie is what does it to me. I'm a huge AHS fan and I have to agree. They have had some good seasons (1984, Cult), but some really bad ones (Hotel, Roanoake). They are much more campy, though. I do appreciate them for what they are. It's like when everyone compared AHS to Hill House. I love both, for different reasons. Same holds true for this. This was far better in quality, characterization, plot, and score, but there are things I like about AHS, too (depending on the season).

Tommy is really the only one of the Goode family’s sacrifices that you get to see what happen to, and he seems like he really was a good person. If he hadn’t been the one who was cursed, he probably would have died protecting other people. You kind of find out about Ruby Lane and Pastor Miller, and the both also seem like good people. Nurse Lane said her daughter was a sweet girl with the voice of an angel. Pastor Miller only had a few scenes, but one of them shows him basically playing the the children in town and he seemed to really enjoy amusing them.

Yeah, you kinda got the feeling halfway through the first movie that Sarah Fier was going to have been completely framed. This is not a complaint (aside from a level of predictability) but you could tell what socio-political bent the writing had, and with those leanings I doubted they’d play right into the old trope of the evil-witch-and-her-community-wrecking-ways. I admittedly didn’t figure out it was the Sheriff until much later though…They got me good with he and Ziggy’s story. Makes me want to skim the books, even. Though now that the goodwill groundwork is laid with this first trilogy, they might feel more open to subvert or play w/ those expectations without seeming regressive or old cliche on the opposite end.

In my opinion, these people were definitely the most pivotal part of uncovering Sarah's whole truth and story and need all the love they deserve: Deena: She literally possesses Sarah Fier to learn the truth and kills Goode....I think that's enough said. Sam: Was technically the one who found where Sarah's body was really buried. Alice: Solved the whole nursery rhyme part about her hand and found it so that Deena and the others could reunite it with the body and go back to 1666 to learn the truth. Christine(Ziggy) and Cindy: While Cindy did die, she was still the one who uncovered the whole cave and navigated her way through it in 1978. Ziggy basically told the whole events of 1978 and was the one who told Deena and Josh were the hand was. Nick (no, this one doesn't need love): If you think about it, it was technically Nick who brought his own downfall by choosing to revive Ziggy in 1978, helping Deena and Josh learn the truth about the Goode Family

two things i have noticed after watching the trilogy & then this: initially it seems merciful that nick doesn't want ziggy dead, but she lives the rest of her life in complete fear & isolation. there could have been much more he could've done to help & comfort her, instead he continues to be entitled & selfish & doing the bare minimum. practically psychological torture to leave the note "it's happening again"... why tell her if she's not in direct fire of the undead. they only care about getting that one person, so why tell ziggy? second thing that intrigues me is ruby lane's self harm cuts she used to commit suicide. every other undead being had to be taken out by outside means or otherwise demanifested i assume. does this means that ruby was able to snap out of it at some level? whether she was was just horrified by the killing & wanted to end things or, thought that suicide might be the only way to end the killings because she otherwise knew she didn't have control for much longer? much to think about.
@r3a1itygamezz14
@r3a1itygamezz14 3 года назад
For your first point, nick had a huge crush on ziggy so he kept her alive simply because he wanted her, she cut him off because despite him promising to her that he believes her about the curse, he reports that it was just a killer and has no mention of the curse. He always maintained his feelings for her keeping a track on where she lived but she didn’t want anything to do with him after he betrayed her trust. For your 2nd point, it’s most likely Ruby lane wasn’t killed and therefore not completely engulfed in the curse. Similar to how Samantha could break free of possession slightly and how Ryan has a small glimpse of coming to reality when killing the girl at the beginning before being killed. As a result after the killings Ruby feeling that she has to stop herself decided to end her own life. With her mum seeing this which is what is her biggest drive to working as a nurse at camp and trying to find a stop to the curse. What’s really sad to know is that when the nurse found Tommy’s name on the rock she would’ve seen the most previous one was her daughter which most likely broke her and pushed her to try give Tommy a mercy killing

@@onijester56 That's awesome. A lot of people said that "Return to Horrorland" from the 2000s series was a downgrade from the first one. But I've never read that book, and have been trying to find it despite what they say. D&D is really mad fun honestly.

Just watched it yesterday and I have some questions and thoughts. Why didn't all the killers appear? Why only some. And how many killer were there? There seemed to be 3+ stones full of names on them, the names of the killers. But this can't be as there was alot of names per stone. The victims names aren't written so it wasn't them. Why did the killers avoid some people are then kill others? The killer ran past Josh, Simon and Kate in the hospital and Josh in the woods, but killed the cops in the mall and the nurses in the hospital, as well as Sam's bf. Its not like these people had Sam's blood on them. Seems if you have plot armour, you won't get killed, even if you were fighting the killers minutes before. Why doesn't bleeding on Sarah Fier's bones give more info and why didn't Ziggy get more info? Surely the one person who survived the killers would be a good asset to take down Goode, especially since he was so young. If Nick wanted to be with Ziggy, why didn't he date her? He knew the killers wouldn't come after her, but he let live in fear anyway. What happened to Nick Goode's brother, the mayor? Just because Nick died, doesn't mean his brother can't continue the legacy. I would've thought because their is still an heir, the curse wouldn't just dissappear.
@ivano8093
@ivano8093 2 года назад
The killer went after the cops and people at the mall because he just became possessed and there was no blood left so he could kill anyone. The killers went after Sam because she bled on the witch's bones and the killers, as mentioned in part 3, the killers went after Sam because she bled on the witch's bones cuz they had to stop her from uncovering the truth about the killers and Sarah. Simon,Kate and Josh were just standing there and they were not in front of the killers, which means that the killers will only attack people who stay in their way when the killers are trying to attack the person who bled on the witch's bones, in this case Sam. Even if they have no blood, the killers can kill them if they notice them and are in their way.
@ivano8093
@ivano8093 2 года назад
There weren't all killers appearing because Nick Goode probably thought that one or two killers were enough to kill people or they were set for the trap so they can kill someone who falls in their trap, see in part 1 when Ruby Lane was singing, Simon came to her to ask her If she needs help but she tricked him and tried to kill him. Or maybe the killers were killing someone else already.

The details in this were pretty good. For instance, after the hospital scenes in 94, when the sheriff notices the blood down the street where the kids shot Ruby Lane, you can see he walks with a slight limp. Then in 86 we find out why. Pretty cool

It sucks how many lame rip off channels popped up just to steal ur idea and use a robot voice. It honestly would be quite endearing if not for the fact that every one f the recap channels are doin it the most profitable least amount of effort content, some of the copy cat Chanel’s that just took ur whole thing, are all over the place and they mostly do it lazy as possible. None of them credit u either even tho it’s clear the idea was to just take ur content copy paste it to less known movies and use a robot to avoid anyone realizing that it’s some foreign group of peoples no do not care one single iota about making good content for their subs, they are looking for $$$ thats it. No soul no love or passion In their videos. You are the first and the greatest ! Keep it up FF

The first entry in the trilogy I felt was the weakest, mainly because of Deana. I don't mind the fact that they made her into a gaslighter in the beginning as that is an opportunity for character growth, but the movie never really addresses and brings it to a resolution so there is no real arc in her character. I will say though it is a refreshing change of pace to have the trilogy get a happy ending. I like that Deana patched things up with Sam, and that Josh (aka the best character) got to finally meet Queen of Air and Darkness....Although, if they make a sequel trilogy, I hope that they don't mess with her and josh's relationship.

The first movie is my second favorite of the three, but I agree with Deana and Sam to an extent that they were very selfish, Deana especially. Like she didn't care enough that her two best friends died, like Josh met them that day and he showed more care for them. Also agreed Josh is the mvp of this movie.

Dude I LOVE Fear Street (especially part 2) I wish they showed more of the killer fight scene. I think the sequels should focus more on the other murders. There were like 50 names on the wall, they could make a TV show with each episode making up one of the murders... Or something like that. I just want to have them go into more detail about the previous murders

This show is based on a book by RL Stine called Betrayal! All 3 stories are in the book but it starts with the 1666 story and fleshes it out from there. Also there are no weird killers in the book but the Feir (Fear) family is ALWAYS killed in some brutal fashion with no real killer in sight…they just assume they’re cursed (they kinda are) but in the end we find out that the Goodes have been behind everything that happens to the Fear families every single time
