I am SO HAPPY everything worked out how it did. Because she is so freaking talented. I'm watching this and I find her so likeable and so interesting. And if these Fear Street films are just a taste of what she's capable of, she surely has a great future as a big name director. I'm just so happy for her bc I've been waiting for a Fear Street film since I was a kid reading the book series. What a great interview!

I loved 1994 when I watched it last week, came off as a total surprise since I didn't see much of the marketing for it. I want to point out the music section in 1994 as it was a total delight hearing many cool songs from musicians that are some of my favorite. I mean Garbage, NIN, The Prodigy, and Rob Zombie that's just awesome in my book! Really enjoyed this interview you ladies did.

I’m so happy Witching Hour is back. You guys rock. Really wish we could’ve experienced these in theaters but I’m so excited to check this one out tonight. Sounds right up my alley.

@@Olemansummer As a 90s kid and slasher obsessive, this movie was made for me. I LOVED IT. Great kills, a supernatural twist, R Rated R.L. Stine vibes, amazing needle drops, and constant homages to my favorite horror series, Scream. They literally catered to me haha. Great slasher FUN. I recommend it!

Amazing interview, amazing trilogy! Can't wait to see what Leigh does next. And the thing she is referring to in the game "Inside" is indeed jaw-dropping. And I mean that literally. I sat there stunned for about an hour after I experienced it, in a daze. If you love art, plain and simple, you need to check it out.

Perri was totally exaggerating with the whole "momentum" comment. Janiak practically disappeared after Honeymoon (2014). She got really lucky with this Fear Street project.

I think Leigh might be the first woman to direct a whole trilogy herself. Like it wasn't until 2016 that the Bridget Jones films became the first trilogy to have all its films directed by women. So Leigh could be the first to do all three.
