Greetings,
In this video I walk you through the recent success of my list concept that has let me go undefeated in the last 2 super majors!! and the games I have lost have only been to the winners of the event. This list has has won 14/16 games against the highest of calibre players in the world and will become even stronger with the new codex!!
Feedback from all of my opponents is that they hate the ghostkeels and this list is a complete stat check and that they cant deal with it!!

I’ve already been running a list similar to this for most of tenth. Ghostkeels have an amazing psychological effect on your opponent. One is easy to ignore, but three plus some buffs (guiding with stealth suits and using shadowsun) is far to much to ignore and way harder to move than most other tau options. It forces your opponents game plan to drastically shift. So underrated.

When I play strategy games I always want one unit that just makes people change their strategy. Ghost kill does that and every time you multiply them it turns the opponent into a looney bin!!! I run two with kroot. And people have a hard time getting to my kroot!!! because they're so afraid of my ghosts

Im new to 40k but i thought since longstrike and the xv-8 suit were put into legends therefore not permitted in tournaments? If it is allowed where do you get info for such unit if they dont show in the 40k app and how do you know the cost of said unit. Again, sorry im new and kinda lost on this lol.

You score at the start of your command phase going second on priority targets. Still it's a good chance at scoring 15, but opponent can deny primary in their 4th turn.

Priority target you also scored at the end of the game too so basically 25 points is available obviously it's easy for the person going second

My buddy Al, he goes to the rhythm of Ghostkeels all day and sleeps by night. Triptide is nice also. If you had to have 3 ghost keels or 3 riptides which would you choose? How relevant is the new lone op nerf?

The lone op nerf doesn't affect ghostkeels, it's only strats that gives units lone op that have been increased to 18" range. Three ghostkeels as I like the tactical options with ghostkeels over raw damage

Awesome channel, but I just have a small amount of constructive criticism about your videos; your mic is very quiet, so the volume could do with being doubled as that's what I personally have to do to hear you compared to other content creators. I hope this helps!

I can turn my mic up but I've just listened to it back and I have to turn my volume down on my phone so not sure if it's something on your end. I will definitely look into it though as I want to improve quality for my audience.

At 1:06:30 ~ish, you talk about the list slotting into Kauyon and being more powerful as a result. Do you mean Mont'ka here? Just confused because you were already running the list as Kauyon pre-codex right?

Making sure I either pre measure threat ranges or engage stuff with ghostkeels to stop them from connecting with things that matter.

They hit like truck but are turtle slow. I don't have Puretide knowledge but I think it's terrains and meta dependant

Just from looking at it - That list looks like it would really struggle against DA ironstorm/some other variants of ironstorm. Is this your experience?

Nope it doesn't struggle against anything in the top meta, iron storm hate this tau list because of the ghost keels and the Riptides and hammerheads pick up the tanks overtime and the hammerheads can deliver instant damage. I've not lost Vs iron storm

Also you don't need to do damage to win against iron storm, just move block and charge to keep them locked down and put of position.

@@Puretideprogram have you played against double raven ironstorm? I honestly don't think 2 hammerheads and 2 or even 3 riptides get through a redemptor with aoc, darkshroud buffs, and blank a save.

@@noahjacob424 Riptides ignore the modifiers to hit and the hammerheads have seekers and hit on 2s rerolling 1s from shadowsun, 3s with stealth. Riptides can pop devastating wounds, also trust me you can't pass off this list as not good Vs iron storm as I have played it and just slow it down and play the mission. And my ghostkeels don't die.

@Puretideprogram hey man fair enough. It's a unique list but I am definitely surprised by your experience. I've played into tau into quite a few times as da ironstorm and they can never kill the list effectively and can't moveblock effectively as the ravens just fly over a screen or stop short and establish the castle. But you've played more gts so I'll be cautious whenever I see this list haha. You think it just gets better in retaliation cadre?
